This photo is taken at Restaurant Vuur in Baarn, the Netherlands. The beautiful lambs rack with asparagus really stands out on the white background. Pouring the sauce over it gives the image just that extra dimension.

Über mich
I'm a photographer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I fell in love with food photography about 7 months ago and love every bit of it. There hasn't a day gone by without taking new photo's. I'm one of the food photographers for Deliveroo, where I go to restaurants to photograph dishes and interior. Creating beautiful images, thinking about composition and trying to use (natural) light in the best way makes me a happy person.

This photo was taken on a beautiful sunny day. A ray of light crossed the room. Just the other day I found this amazing plate in a small cook shop in Amsterdam. The cookies where bought at a new healthy restaurant just around the corner. I immediately had the image in my head. To add some color and summer mood to the photo I decided to shoot the ivy blurry in the background.
