This tear apart garlic and parsley bread was made for my son. He loves to share food with his friends and that way he could invite neighbours for supper. I almost couldn't resist biting into it while taking that picture...the smell was amazing !
This fish mackarel paste is an easy way for me to eat more healthy fish. When you add some sour cucumber pickle it gets an interesting twist of flavour. I love photographing food that I actually love and eat often.
This was one of my first garden shoots. I remember running around with a stool trying to find a perfect spot with a perfect amount of light. The day was extremely sunny and warm, so I could enjoy every moment in my garden. It turned out that apart from the dish I photographed I had a great company of two models...first my cat tried to eat my dessert and then a wasp came flying over the bowl and trying to get something sweet for herself. I couldn't imagine a better model for that photo.
My love for fresh cranberries grows every season. Which in practice means I am trying to find more ways of eating cranberries and more ways of smuggling them to my Son's plate. Those delicate pancakes with fresh cranberries are a perfect mix of tart and sweet. It was quite hard for me to save a few pancakes for the shooting...as my son invited over some neighbours and they all enjoyed them a lot and wouldn't let me photograph them in peace.
