I used to be afraid of shooting food on a blue backdrop. Then I tried it. Now I love it. Melon slices on cool blue, a simple study of complementary colors and good light.
Spring gave us 'lemons' this year, and I'm making the most out of them :)
Spring my way. Crunchy napa cabbage, sweet peas, tender asparagus, and jammy eggs. Delicious, flavorful salad you should be making this Spring.
Pretty in Pink. Delicious breakfast for that special person. Waffles, fresh fruit, and meaningful conversation.
The purple hues and the texture of the red cabbage leaves needed some drama, so I created it. Simple, dark, and moody setup to make the cabbage the hero.
A touch of color. I really wanted to use the black dishes. I figured a minimalistic approach and contrasting accent of bright red tomatoes would be best.
Style with me store-bought bread. 300 takes later, I have that perfect flour action shot I always wanted.
