Food photo session in Russia (wherever I am, I can't live without bread!). Mini garlic loaves, heavenly fragrant, were served as entrée with Russian salmon caviar...

Pesto sauce (the original one from my hometown) and bread: a perfect match...

The picture was taken in Cornwall, Uk in Nathan Outlaw restaurant Cooked by the very talented Chef Tom Brown using only the very best of Cornish Seafood. Hake ~ Bacon & Hazelnut Dressing ~ Asparagus. Delicious!! Picture again was only taken in available natural light.

I always find Beauty in Food... I was working on a shooting for the local market producers and I chose those stunning artichokes, arranging them in a very simple recipe with a parsley-garlic and bacon filling and a generous handful of parmesan cheese. I was really struck by the wide range of green hues and by the burgundy shades which I wanted to enhance. PS They were delicious as well!
