A dark and moody levitation image. The strawberries and the popsicle are shot differently and then merged to make a composite image.

A composite image of the sauce bottles to provide a sense of levitation. Added the fire to bring in the taste of the hot sauces.

A light and airy levitation image with lots of bright colours. A composite of multiple images.

87th Collection

I loved the texture of these dumplings. These are Prawns Har Gow. Its a composite image with some play of light to give a final output of a levitation.

87th Collection

Chocolates are very interesting subjects for levitation photography. A dark and moody levitation image, where I would a create a sense of an explosion using a composite images with these chocolates.

87th Collection

A composite food levitation photograph. One light from behind with dark flag, one light from right with a reflector from left. The pouring sauce is to add dynamism to the entire composition.

84th Collection

A composite food levitation photograph. Used 2 lights and a reflector here. Some out-of-focus chips in foreground to add depth to the overall composition.

84th Collection

A dark and moody levitation image with predominance of red as the strongest colour. The perspective is from below to add a dramatic effect. The cut tomatoes are shot separately. The water droplets add freshness to the vegetables. A slight motion blur applied to the knife bringing in a sense of motion.

83rd Collection

Chips are very interesting subjects for levitation photography. I have always been fascinated by the Pringles chips. The texture they have, the symmetrical shape all of them have in the entire stack. I wanted to create a light and airy levitation image, where I would a create a sense of an explosion bringing in an asymmetry out of these symmetrical chips... and then finally came out with this.

83rd Collection

Food levitation is time consuming. But the results are so satisfying. It is a composite shot with back lighting and some light flagging to help achieve the edge illuminations.

82nd Collection

The magic of levitation! This is a composite image where the individual components have been shot separately. I prefer dark theme with such images. The image is back lit here with some amount of light flagging which helped to achieve the edge illumination.

82nd Collection

Food levitation is a passion now. Its so much fun, specially because it lets you weave your dream. Tried coupling dark theme with it, and it created magic. It is a composite shot under same lighting condition. Back light with flagging helps to achieve the edge illumination. Plus additional controlled lights on sides to help achieve the dramatic effect.

81st Collection

I have been working on food levitation for quite some time now. Its so much fun, specially because it lets you weave your dream. When dark theme is coupled with it, it creates magic. So happy to have achieved the lighting that I wanted to have here. It is a composite shot under same lighting condition. Back light with flagging helps to achieve the edge illumination. Plus additional controlled lights on sides to help achieve the dramatic effect.

81st Collection

Its a composite food levitation image. The idea was to showcase the colours of the food. The chef's hand adds the human element which is a key component as well in the frame.

80th Collection

I have been doing dark theme shoots for quite some time now and this one is very close to my heart. I wanted to work on black in black. The lighting was super challenging here but glad that I could finally get that highlight on the surface of the chop.

69th Collection

I was experimenting with lights white shooting tea. Suddenly this idea came to mind of creating a high contrast image and at the same time include some action. The essence of this image is the pour and the smoke that represents a refreshing hot drink to pep you up.
