Studio Name

Les saveurs de Sophie

Food Photographer since 2012, I lived all my different experiences with love and generosity. The world of the culinary came to me with its true products, its know-how and its catering trade.
I work first and foremost with day light. My studio is as my own kitchen, a mixture of "home-made" and bought products. I photograph them as they are, gross, ready to have a rough time.
Feel free to contact me (french and english speaking)

A precious olive oil with delicate and inimitable taste, produced since 1865 by Vassilakis Estate, in the respect of tradition, in Crete. Photographed outdoors, in full sun, a game of reflection to give an impression of grandeur to this good product.

"The fine bubbles". Sparkling drink from Perrier. An inspiration with cold colors to push the idea of refreshment.
Shooting in daylight.

81st Collection

A raspberry cake, a creation by pastry chef Cyril Huet.
My interpretation :
"This cake is a missed date, it is this time that we no longer take, it's greed and its excesses.
This cake is also sweetness, moments of sharing, family and friends that we miss".
(Natural Light used for this session).

Visual is as important as taste in food photography, don't you think?

This photo is an order of a pastry cook to celebrate Christmas. His speciality is to present raspberry "back to front" on his tarts. I thought that a semi -close up was necessary without adding anything all around. Just focus on the raspberry.

2nd Collection

This photo is a part of a series called "The black tart" made for a French pastry cook. Taken on the top, it is a small wink humor to the Pacman. A greedy Pacman!
