This piece was a campaign shot to promote Sarah Waller Architecture. Her branding goes right thru to the ice cubes she places in drinks for her client meetings. She has a love for the monochromatic through her iconic award winning architecture so in this shoot I wanted to reflect this.

Handcrafted in the Mary Valley @maryvalleyfoodco pick fruit from small scale farmers and dries them. I use their dried fruits in a lot of my propping but today their lemon took centre stage as it’s just too beautiful on it’s own not to zoom into.

Do you see the heart? This is aptly named ‘X-ray smouldering heart cocktail’. Shot using the 100mm macro to capture all those details.

Inspired by the many chocolate scenes in ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’ this is a chocolate lovers' dream! I created this splash in reverse by pouring the liquid and suspending the elements and then flipping the scene.

Creating dark and moody scenes are possibly my favorite choice when photographing drinks. This time I used artificial light to create the shadows and key light. I’m also a fan of contrasting colors so I used the dehydrated orange segments to pop the scene.

This image was from a series of images created for @changinghabits_hq ‘s new cookbook. For such a simple cake it became quite the hero on stage with dramatic side lighting and adding the red cake stand to the mix.

This image was from a series of images created for @changinghabits_hq ‘s new cookbook. I wanted to create an image that was less static by addressing the movement of the topping going on.

With figs now in the season I wanted to create a
dynamic shot for @wrayorganic and at the same time promote @themilkthiefofficial ‘s kefir. The timing was everything and this will be done in one shot, no composing.

The heat was on creating cutting edge cocktails and capturing these for @missmoneypennysgc the new sister restaurant to award-winning @missmoneypennysnoosa ⁣
