Bright, colourful and seasonal tomatoes combine with the distinct flavor of lovage in this recipe. This shot will contribute to a book beautiful by Abby Joy Designs drawing together the worlds of food, stories, illustration and photography around the theme of the seasons. This project features a collective of talented creatives, presenting delicious dishes inspired by and showcasing the South West of England’s local produce and suppliers.

Pork belly with peach chutney will be the meal of the summer. Crispy pork belly, slowly roasted and rubbed with sea salt ensures the crispy crackling that we all love. Having a peach chutney helps break up the saltiness and fat then paired with potatoes makes the perfect roast. Easy to create and even easier to eat!

I think my favourite season of the year is fig season. Fresh figs work perfectly in salads, baked goods and your morning breakfast. The recipe is a lightly toasted muesli with a selection of nuts, dried fruit, coconut and cinnamon spice.

This was one of my first ever recipes that I created and shot and was inspired by a cosy dinner party at one of my favourite restaurants in Bristol, Bell's Diner. The combination of plums and cherries with a light sorbet was forever echoing in my ears that I had to create my own masterpiece. It's an easy choice for a late summer dessert.
