Hi, I'm Sophie. My passion goes beyond just capturing images of food—it’s about conveying the entire preparation process, the finest details, and the atmosphere surrounding it. My goal is to showcase dishes in their best light, highlighting textures, colors, and the emotions they evoke.
I live and work in Wroclaw, but my love for food photography knows no boundaries. I’m open to collaborations in other cities and countries. No matter the scale of the project, I always strive to create aesthetic and appetizing images that captivate from the very first glance.
Winning photos
This photograph was created during a food photography marathon, where one of the assignments was to create a monochrome image. It all started with a Romanesco cauliflower I found at a local market, and from there I intuitively built the composition, choosing each vegetable one by one.
Green is my favourite colour, and I wanted to show how many different textures, shapes and shades can exist within a single colour. I also enjoy creating compositions that feel balanced.
This idea had been living in my mind for a long time before I finally decided to create it.
I love creating compositions that feel as if they exist one second before gravity takes over. While preparing the scene, I noticed a single dandelion seed at home and immediately knew it was the missing detail. It brought lightness to the composition and balanced the sparkling cider, the glasses and that fleeting moment I wanted to capture.
Capturing the perfect drops before the bubbles disappeared was the most challenging part.
