Food photographers in Belgium

  • 8 images selected 8 Pieter D'Hoop Brugge (Belgium) I’m Pieter D’Hoop, culinary photographer and food lover.
I don’t like the word food photographer because for me there is more to photograph than just food on the plate. Capturing the atmosphere, the products, the people, from chef to dishwasher.

I like to focus more on small details, and isolate them from their surroundings. I'm an ambassador for fujifilm and nanlite. But I work with different techniques to light up my pictures. I always work in the restaurant and make the pictures next to the chef. Pieter D'Hoop photography

  • Bart Tanghe Roeselare (Belgium) Hi, As a self-employed professional photographer and graphic designer, I experienced to photograph a lot of different chefs and culinary beauties. My main goal is to translate the story and philosophy from the chef on photo. In my early years I've worked in several kitchens myself so I've had a lot knowledge bagage of food and all that is related to it. Off course, I learn new things every day. As well on food as on my photography. So my job is never boring. As I do a lot of realestate and interior shoots too, my interests for beautiful restaurantinteriors is always a nice bonus. greetz, Bart Bart Tanghe

  • Mana Constantinescu Brussels (Belgium) Also serving: Bucharest (Romania) Born in Bucharest, I live and work in Brussel Belgium since 1992. I started as an art director for advertising companies, and became more and more interested in food. I added a new branch to my artistic activities, first as a food stylist, now as a food photographer and as a food film director (this is brand new). I also went back to school, at the Beaux Arts Académie in Brussel and graduated with a Master in Food Design a few years ago. My food photography has 2 distinctives directions, first a contemplative one which is linked to my young years as an art student in Bucharest, experimenting with the still lives as a genre.  The other one, more pragmatic, it’s related to everyday food and the creation of social links. Those 2 directions influence each other.
