Food is my passion. My goal is to translate the chef's creation in to a wonderful food photo. Together we make the most amazing creations. I shoot the photo's right in your restaurant. I'll bring all the necessary material needed, lights, stands and camera. You just make sure it looks great on the plate! For a TV Program in The Netherlands @baasbbq / @makroNL, every episode a well-known chef was invited to create a dish. @chef_t1m made this amazing dish: Sweetbreads with dukkah and a crème of roasted corn.
For a new restaurant in Amsterdam, I made a series of food photo's for the menu and socials. This codfish with fregola, cauliflower, and beurre-blanc.

This is the most luxurious Cioccolato di Modica with a fabulous sprinkle of cane sugar! Rich beyond words, this ice-cream is transcendent.
When speaking to the award-winning Gelateria who hired me to photograph their flavours I was speechless when they explained the cost, per kilo of making this pistachio ice-cream. The ice-cream tastes as precious as its price tag.
Coffee and Ice-Cream!!?? What could possibly beat it?! Award-winning, Italian, Gelateria, Nonna Papera created this Tiramisu ice cream for people who embrace their vices! Smooth, creamy and sensational original, this inspired recipe was one of my favorites in the project of a lifetime.
I began my food styling journey photographing desserts because nothing puts a smile on my family's face like a great dessert. But what makes me happy is seeing them eat a healthy fish dinner with joy and relish! So that's how this one happened.
Blueberry topped scotch pancakes with a dusting of icing sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup sums up the ideal start to the day.
I’ve been longing to get my hands on one of these cakes from La Torteria Como. This cake shop makes some of the most beautiful cakes in the region. This one is a “simple” vanilla and cream cake topped with fruits and berries.
Half a day of throwing things at coffee!!! This shot was a lesson in patience and perseverance for me. It’s fascinating the different shapes that presented themselves. I’m super happy with this final shop which has just the right amount of energy and flows!
Homemade scones, prepared and baked by my eldest son and topped with red fruit and maple syrup. The first time I baked these my husband joked that they were so hard that they could be used to fight off intruders! These, however, were light and fluffy - so well done Julius!
The toughest part of this shoot was keeping my kids' mitts off the brownies long enough to be able to set up the shoot! <br /> I love the motion in images so the chocolate dusting is one of my favorite elements, along with the rich darkness of the overall feel.
Blueberries, banana, and rice milk smoothie are how I've been keeping my kids stocked up with vitamins and well-hydrated this summer. Again with the motion! Movement makes me happy but you can imagine how many times I hand to throw berries across the set and how many snuck into hidden places!!!

This dish was beautifully plated by Chef Oren at Goode & Wright. It was shot on location in natural daylight in Notting Hill, London. <br /> The composition, colors and components of the plate perfectly encapsulate a city dwellers’ fantasy of the seaside. The entire dish comes alive with the broad brushstroke of squid ink lined with pristine white polka dots. It’s dynamic and gushes of the chef’s inspiration taken from the sea. It’s a masterpiece.

This stunning dish was shot just a week ago for @Bauhausrestaurant in Vancouver, Canada. It's the third course of Executive chef @davidamueller 's tasting menu - Seared Scallops, Qualicum bay scallop, green asparagus juice, ribbons and spears, sea buckthorn gel and raw berries, sea asparagus and bacon foam.<br /> I'm so happy this dish won. Thanks, @foodelia and the amazing team at Bauhaus!

I love the early mornings with the light streaming through my kitchen window. My family loves a fresh berry parfait during the summer. I createdd this fresh berry parfait with Greek yogurt and granola and photographed it in my kitchen with window light.
I love the texture of bread and created this set in my kitchen. The background is an image I took in central Nevada that I composited in using Photoshop.
I love fresh pasta and decided to learn how to make it. My first attempt and found it very easy. <br /> I decided to utilize the beautiful window light coming through my kitchen window to bring out the color and texture.<br />
Olive dropping into a martini. I did this photograph as a demonstration to a group of students on how to photograph glassware and capturing splashes.
I actually did this photo as a demonstration for a food photography class I was teaching. The glass was propped up at an angle and a fast shutter speed was used to capture the splashing wine.<br />
Whenever I am visiting a bakery, I am drawn to the beauty of artisan bread loaves. Not to mention that I also love to eat it. The textures and warm colors are amazing. On a recent visit, I grabbed several loaves and created this image for my own use, using natural window light.
Photographing a martini for a local restaurant, I decided to spice up the classic iconic martini glass by dropping an olive in it and recording the splash.

When I have free time, I like to create images of things I love. I love bourbon. I arranged several bottles of bourbon as a background and then dropped acrylic ice cubes in to the glass of bourbon. I did have one casualty when an errant ice cube hit the side of the glass breaking it.

In the world filled with Avocado toasts, was so interesting to find this unique citrus based toast for brunch at Herringbone in La Jolla, San Diego. Burst of freshness and crunchiness were accented by the bright colors of the ingredients as well as the location itself; So provided an awesome photo op while celebrating a friend's birthday.
Kindred is a very edgy Vegan restaurant (One of its kind) at South Park, San Diego. They seem to know how to cook the best vegan food around here drawing in massive crowds. On a late February night, my friend @thedoubleeaterz and I decided to indulge in some vegan chocolate awesomeness (Kindred used Tcho chocolates to make this dessert :)). The dark restaurant vibes assisted in creating a moody image.
Medina is a brand new Morrocon & Mexican influenced cafe in San Diego.<br /> When @thedoubleeaterz was playing around with honey for fresh mint hot tea, it was a perfect time to capture that action shot :)
