In the world filled with Avocado toasts, was so interesting to find this unique citrus based toast for brunch at Herringbone in La Jolla, San Diego. Burst of freshness and crunchiness were accented by the bright colors of the ingredients as well as the location itself; So provided an awesome photo op while celebrating a friend's birthday.
Kindred is a very edgy Vegan restaurant (One of its kind) at South Park, San Diego. They seem to know how to cook the best vegan food around here drawing in massive crowds. On a late February night, my friend @thedoubleeaterz and I decided to indulge in some vegan chocolate awesomeness (Kindred used Tcho chocolates to make this dessert :)). The dark restaurant vibes assisted in creating a moody image.
Two years ago I shot at The Montagu Arms and last month I was back there with a new chef bringing in all the excitement of a new menu in a gorgeous established hotel.

I shot this photograph at a restaurant called Aurum Lounge in Middlesbrough, in the North East of England. It's independently owned and ran and loves to give a sense of 'home away from home' in the surroundings and food they serve. The menu is designed to be from 'paddock to plate', only the best organic products find their way onto the menu.
The restaurant have fabulous floor to ceiling windows, giving great natural light into the room. On the day that I shot this, the light was perfect and all I needed was a little diffused light from my speedlight to fill in some of the detail around the fabulously jam-packed chicken wrap!
This is a green smoothie bowl filled with organic frozen avocado, organic spinach, organic celery, and organic frozen bananas and strawberries. It has an added crunch with some dried coconut and granola on top, and a little added fruit with some blueberries. A very tasty and healthy breakfast to get your day started off with a smile. :)
A Burmese specialty, which is also a Northern Thai street dish, Khow Soi, consists of tender, rich meat or chicken curry on a bed of noodles drenched in a delicately spiced creamy coconut sauce served with an elaborate array of different contrasting garnishes.
Chef Atul Kochhar and Tina English have joined forces and opened a gorgeous new restaurant in London's Mayfair.
This was shot in late January as the snow was threatening to fall but the warmth from the food and the shoot sustained us all day - as well as an amazing soundtrack!

Whenever I am visiting a bakery, I am drawn to the beauty of artisan bread loaves. Not to mention that I also love to eat it. The textures and warm colors are amazing. On a recent visit, I grabbed several loaves and created this image for my own use, using natural window light.
