I’ve been working with a camera since I was 15, and nearly 25 years later, photography is still at the core of who I am. Today I work across commercial and editorial projects, creating both stills and motion for brands, restaurants, publishers and agencies. My background in both photography and food styling , but also photojournalism allows me to approach every project holistically — from concept and visual direction to the smallest tactile details in the frame. I understand how light, texture, colour and movement work together to create imagery that not only looks beautiful, but communicates clearly and sells with integrity. My style is rooted in Scandinavian aesthetics, but I’m not afraid of colour, personality and warmth. I aim to create images that feel inviting and alive — where you can almost taste the food and sense the atmosphere beyond the frame. I’m structured, efficient and comfortable leading productions, whether it’s a focused studio shoot or a larger commercial set. At the same time, I value collaboration deeply. The best results always come from trust, shared vision and good energy around the table. With decades of experience and a genuine love for what I do, I bring both creative playfulness and professional reliability to every project. I’m always open to meaningful collaborations and new visual stories to tell.

Food photographers in Norway do more than capture beautiful dishes—they tell stories about origin, craftsmanship, and the people behind the food. A fisherman bringing in the day's catch, a chef preparing Arctic ingredients, or a baker creating traditional pastries all become part of the visual narrative. These details transform a simple photograph into an experience that allows viewers to imagine the flavors, textures, and emotions connected to each meal.

The country's breathtaking surroundings create a natural stage for unforgettable food imagery. Fresh seafood photographed near the fjords, seasonal dishes surrounded by Nordic landscapes, or local ingredients displayed in rustic settings all carry a strong sense of place. The soft northern light, changing seasons, and minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics help create photographs that feel calm, refined, and timeless.

Inside restaurants and studios, attention to composition and detail brings out the beauty of Norwegian cuisine. The delicate texture of fresh salmon, the colors of wild berries, the simplicity of handcrafted bread, or the elegance of a carefully prepared dish can all become powerful visual elements. Thoughtful styling, natural materials, and balanced arrangements enhance the story while keeping the food at the center.

Food photography in Norway captures more than just what is served on a plate—it reflects a culture that values quality, simplicity, and connection with nature. Through creativity and a careful eye for detail, photographers preserve the essence of Norwegian cuisine, creating images that inspire curiosity and invite viewers to discover the flavors and traditions of this remarkable country.
