Seventy-Third Collection
Gin fizz pomegranate cocktail - mix of gin, lime and pomegranate juice, plus decoration with egg white foam which technically makes the cocktail "royal". And my personal touch - the steaming rosemary. It is really easy to prepare even at home, just be very careful with the freshness and the origin of the eggs.
Studio photography test shot the day before a full day food and beer photo shoot with chef and stylist. I wanted to get the colour of the beer right and happened to have a bottle of Great Northern, a local beer in the fridge. Then enhanced the golden beer tones with the orange backlight.
This is Umeshu, the traditional Japanese plum liquor. Served with the plum fruit that has been soaked in the liquor. This pouring action is captured from low angle to enhance the liquid coming out of the decanter.
Advertising for white truffle chips.
Shoot by Nikon d810- Nikon 14-24 + Hensel contra flash.
Multi-layer work made with photoshop.
With this photo I raised the bar high for myself: adding as much atmosphere as possible, with only a limited amount of products&props! Even with a 'simple' croissant, one can have an enjoyable breakfast.
Por medio de mi cámara busqué detallar el fruto, su color, forma y textura; así de esta manera encontraría la sutileza y la belleza de lo natural, de lo que a veces es solo invisible a nuestra mirada, se trata de los detalles mínimos.
Let's start this day with appetizing syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes) in TB Palace restaurant @tbpalace1 located in Jurmala, Latvia.
Asolo Prosecco DOCG superiore by Giusti Wine.
New product shooting, still life. I created a whole set of images to launch and promote this amazing bottle.

I love creating textures just with one light. It is simple but so elegant! The mirroring also ads an extra dimention. It feels to me like Rembrandt lighting.
Part of a series of images used in a rebranding campaign for Pizzarelli, a beloved Dominican pizza restaurant delivering happiness to homes since 1982.
Edible Christmas gift idea. Your favorite chocolate cookies with home made caramel, chocolate ganache or your favorite grandma jam. Just add a little star, sugar dust (aka snow) and some decoration to the wrapping and you get a perfect homemade Christmas gift for your loved ones.
Homemade pizza with cashew cream, topped with red wine poached pears, vegan blue cheese, dried Mission figs, and caramelized onion. Topped with fresh basil from our garden. Quite possibly the best pizza I have ever made. Lighting: strip softbox at 11:00. Settings: Nikon D810, 50mm/1.8, ISO 100, 1/160 sec, f/6.3.
This is a traditional Glencairn whiskey glass. I wanted to portray it in a way that gives the viewer an impression of the Scottish landscape with moss, rocks and some mystic light.
The great love between the cookies and milk.
Created at once using a string to form the cookies arch and some extra layers for the splash.
A butternut soup is creamy, delicious and sometimes photogenic ;) when shooting I aim to incorporate seasonal, local veggies and avoid any food waste.
An elegant vegan margarita, using a lighting scheme with two side lights to generate soft contrasts, achieving an enveloping light throughout the photo.
Limoncello bottle photographed in a "clear" scene with different shapes and sizes of glasses, with the yellow limoncello liquid in some of the glasses in contrast with the purple flowers in the scene.
I bought this bottle for the shape and the color. I liked the large punt and how it looked through the thick glass, and the contrast of the golden whiskey, and white and blue label. I tried to complement the colors with a similar background: shining two gelled lights (orange and blue) through a textured piece of plastic. I'm happy with it, though next time I'll try adding some black card to give the glass some shape since it almost disappears into the background.
The photo has been taken to a Client with their gorgeous selection of honey products. The packaging has been updated recently with yellow & blue colours in focus, so I brought this product into the natural environment that truly celebrates it!
Wanted a cosy feel, to which warm tones lend themselves very well to! The flame and droplets still add a kind of energy to this generally cosy scene, but the lack of a splash allows it to feel more calm. Captured using flash.

‘Memory Box’. A food memory that is special to you. That reminds you of a time and/or place that you look back on with great fondness.
For me, it was an afternoon in a pub on the Edinburgh high street, during my first trip over to Scotland. A cosy setting on a cold day in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Planning our next stop and reminiscing about all we had done so far. This was also the first time that I had bona fide Scottish Haggis.
I chose to include some mementos in this image. A map of Glencoe, which is where we were heading next. A little tiny wooden Highland Coo (cow) that I picked up there. A coin from Edinburgh Castle. The closet thing I could find to a thistle here in Melbourne in the background.
I am an absolute fan of tea and the whole process of its preparation. Nothing's better than a tea in a cold winter evening. Would you agree with me?
This is a pictures made for #laschitadelloltrepopavese, an Italian group who love a typical food recipe of Oltrepó area : "la schita" is made only with flour, water and salt, cooked with a little bit of oil and served with gorgonzola cheese or typical "pancetta" (very thin slices of bacon). In Oltrepó area
every grandma swears to know the original recipe... But in any case every schita is tasty!
It’s so fun to have a special helper in the kitchen, especially when they can’t get in your way????. I always find it interesting to combine action with levitation.
I am a big fan of quick and easy meals and when tomatoes are in season, this tomato medley with Burrata makes a delicious lunch.
When I saw this cake I thought it was something very close to cartoons. I chose a pink background to make this mood even more evident. I think it could be the “Simpsons cake”.
Orange coffee with cinnamon. It's magical and really tasty! I had fun doing this shoot and of course I drank this deliciousness after
A shot of honey in the whiskey? Why not, simply put the blurring in the foreground of the image with the aperture open, with a little soft light from the left and right side. The contrast between the dark slate and the golden yellow shining whiskey makes this a wonderful eye-catcher. Are you thirsty?
