Eighty-Eighth Collection

One for all the cheese lovers… a product photoshoot of the ‘Perfect for Cheese’ range by Galloway Lodge, Scotland.
This photograph was part of a series of images of 5 products. I wanted the mood of the lighting, together with carefully chosen props to feel like a rustic farm-shop.

A dark and moody levitation image. The strawberries and the popsicle are shot differently and then merged to make a composite image.

This shot was inspired by a lovely red phone booth in London. It's fascinating how you can find inspiration in most unusual places.

This is work with different textures - the softness of the chocolate surface and the texture of the background ask for particular light for each ingredient. Yet, I chose to add geometric shadows to give depth and more visual interest. It's really delightful and creative to work with chocolate.

In the Netherlands, the royal family is called "the Oranges".
Because I live in a street named after a prince, I thought it would be fun to make an "orange" photo series of food.
This tangerine is part of that

The dessert around the honey of the pastry chef Moulaye Fanny that can be found at the restaurant Cueillette located in Altillac in the south-west of France.
Praline with sunflower seeds, earl gray tea gel, toast ice cream, gavotte tuile and flowers from the garden.

Scallops on a tangerine and ice with shaved walnuts. Part of the menu of high end caterer famous flavours

Product shot in a breakfast inspired scene showcasing the yoghurt from Austrian based brand Erlebnis Sennerei.

This photo is part of a series of shots dedicated to a restaurant in a small village in Tuscany. It is both a restaurant and a grocery store with products and dishes of the local tradition. I wanted an evocative shot with bright colors given by the pumpkin that is the protagonist in the composition. A retro and slightly dark mood

Oyster Bar
Almaty, Kazakhstan
It's a bistro with hits of European seafood cuisine.
Idea: Sometimes delicious food doesn't require high concepts; it's enough to show the freshness of the products to whet your appetite.

Premium beef platter for a menu of a Korean BBQ restaurant in KL. Photoshoot the menu in @ktown.bbq in KL

I wanted to do a still life of these tropical fruits in an old masters style and used multiple exposures composited together to get a painterly feel.

Cupcakes with vibrant pink frosting call for Spring, and are even more relatable by the human touch.

This Texas grapefruit salad with a twist, is a refreshing mix of juicy grapefruit, crunchy walnuts, red pepper corn, and mint leaves, elevated with a drizzle of light maple syrup. Perfect for a light and healthy lunch or as a side dish to any meal.

Cake with hazelnut filling. Image created for a photography contest. Captured in my studio with natural light.

Shot in the busy kitchen of Una Pizza Napoletana, watching as these artists tirelessly work to create some of the best pizzas in the world until the dough runs out.
This was a non-invasive photo shoot, trying to get behind the scenes in an open air kitchen.

I wanted to create a monochromatic image for a grapefruit cocktail I'm fond of. So I went with these wonderful shapes from @ericksonsurfaces, some fresh grapefruit slices and my cocktail, of course. Shot on a Nikon z7ii with Profoto B2 lighting.

Midnight Kiss. This delicious fall cocktail is the perfect mix of basil and autumnal pear flavor. Spiced Gin, Organic Pear jam and Jlime juice makes for a truly delicious, beautiful and refreshing fall drink.

This cool climate chardonnay is a wine like no other. Inspired by both the flavours and the label's rich colour palette, this composition was from one of my first dark-mood styled shoots. The lovely vigneron family who assigned me this project were celebrating a first successful vintage after two seasons in a row of cancelled harvests caused by natural disasters. I wanted to express the sunshine that softly comes after darkness, and brings that same smile as when you sip this sublime wine at night.

This photo was taken during the cover shoot with star chef Jan-Philipp Berner from Sylt ( North Sea island in Germany)
The dish is a Sylt oyster with seaweed

Ring for a kiss aka my entry for one Instagram challenge…i call it "Alice in Wonderland on st.Valentine's Day"

I love brown colour and monochromatic styling. Different shades of brown gives to the photo of donuts warm and inviting atmosphere.

Orange and fennel salad is the cure for any late winter blues with it's fragrant scent and bright beautiful colors. Fresh and simple yet so elegant.

There's something inherently beautiful about a cluster of peanuts still nestled in their shells. The sight of them evokes memories of childhood snacking, cozy nights spent around the fireplace, and the satisfying feeling of cracking open each shell to reveal the delicious, salty nuts inside. And when you find one shell that's been opened just right, allowing the light to filter through and highlight the intricacies of the peanuts, it's hard not to be in awe of the natural beauty of these humble snacks.
