Three Pod Studio

Hi, I’m Reka - the creative founder of Three Pod Studio! As a food photographer & stylist, recipe developer, food writer and creative educator, I’m serving a renowned international clientele. My principles are exceptionality and attention to fine details.

I’ve been living an ex-pat life for nearly 10 years and gained 6+ years of experience in countries like Sweden and the United Kingdom before finding my recent home in Finland. Thanks to my digital workflow, I serve my clients remotely from my studio near Helsinki, and I happily travel upon request to capture remarkable frames around the globe.

Please visit my website for my portfolio and services, and if you like what you see there, I would love the opportunity to discuss your upcoming project and create a fresh set of award-worthy visuals for your business!

Thank you for visiting my profile! Let's keep in touch!

A new product’s marketing normally involves a decent amount of education and inspiration, but in this case, thanks to Lingoncello’s traditionally Italian zesty sister, you immediately know what to expect and how to use it.

To make this Nordic forest-inspired environment for the drink, I built a set in my studio, using real plants, berries, flowers, moss, wood, rocks, tree barks and other natural textures.

Commercial projects does not always require brand new direction. Sometimes the photographer’s expertise lies within producing a fresh set of visuals in harmony with an existing image bank. Hence, I styled this shot along with the brand’s clean commercial aesthetics, but of course, I had to bring it a few steps further and incorporate an eye-catching action + levitation magic.

When a product's creative flavour calls for celebration, you must bring it to the next level with sprinkles! A lot of sprinkles!

106th Collection

This product shoot highlights the branding and product colour palette along with a hint of the flavour experience while celebrating the great packaging design.

I love to style monochromatic images and I also enjoy to use the power of repetition with variation - this end result is a perfect reference for both, 2in1!

104th Collection

The best way to emphasize the beautiful product design and the light texture of this heavenly whipped cream is to bring it above the clouds!

104th Collection

Showing the possible end-use of food products in the form of delicious, yet simple recipes can inspire the target audience way more successfully than a clean shot of the packaging. Recipe inspirations are also a way for brands to provide additional value to their customers.

Bananas are one of the raw ingredients that can tell a visual story by adopting a role or personality. This scene works as a visual CTA by signalling many important commercial messages simultaneously to the target audience - yet still being fun!

This photo is a result of a great project featuring a Homemade Gin Kit. This particular capture aims to serve as an inspiration and highlight for the end use in the form of this beautifully garnished Gin Tonic. The styling emphasises the experience and the process of making home-infused gin, and the colour palette refers to the product name "Purple Haze".

I shot a similar chain-reaction scene with honey and spoons, back in 2019. That photo has been digitally presented in London's Mall Galleries and I still remember how much fun I had while figuring out the concept and building the set for the honey shot, and what a huge achievement the recognition was - one of the first wins of my career… so I decided to revisit the concept now and turn it into this action shot.

102nd Collection

I was thinking a lot about what type of garnish I’d love to add to this Cosmo that will emphasize the zesty theme instead of stealing the attention away from it... so I created these orange peel butterflies inspired by my tattoo.

With playfulness in mind, join me on this beautiful day for a picnic where your basket is “serving you” delicious goodies - you just need to reach out to them and enjoy!

Reverse-gravity scene with a composition that leads your eyes through the complex chain of events, and helps to discover every small detail on the image.

I love combining deep greens with festive gold on images that must radiate the holiday vibes - and I think I nailed it with a frozen action above this delicious Christmas bake called stollen.

Product photo with geometric shapes and a limited colour palette focuses on the freshness this particular flavour combination brings to the consumer.

When planning a lifestyle frame for this wine, I aimed to capture hedonism in one picture while being the model at the same time.

96th Collection

Icing sugar action over that delicious apple pie, captured for the brand's newly launched pie pan collection.

I took this photo with a breakfast scene to use it as a cover image of the organic Finnish honey brand's refreshed website, featuring the updated packaging of their products.

95th Collection

A capture from the outdoor session with textured elements and beautiful ingredients to highlight the prominent cookware brand's product.

🌼 Ainoa Winery's Aho - the name literally means meadow, so I wanted to bring typical Finnish wildflowers to the scene.

🥂 It is “A wine for the Finnish Summer” - as written on the label, so I set the colour palette to bring the summer vibes, and warm sunlight + incorporated a playful frozen action dedicated to every summer moment with a glass of wine.

🍓 Strawberries are not only the essential element of Finnish summer but also strawberry wine is one of the main components of Aho, hence beautiful local strawberries also appear on the scene.
