I’m a food photographer on a mission to make your taste buds drool—without the calories! I use lighting that could make a potato look glamorous. Each series of shots has its own quirky technique, from dramatic shadows to playful backgrounds, proving that food isn’t just for eating; it’s for posing too! I blend food and lifestyle like a chef mixes spices, creating mouthwatering images that say, “Eat me!”

Dopo la laurea in Business & Marketing Administration presso la Nottingham Trent University in Inghilterra, ho lavorato come Direttore Creativo tra Roma e Milano per oltre 13 anni nel settore della comunicazione e del marketing. In questi anni ho approfondito i miei studi nel campo della fotografia e del design considerandoli la base fondamentale per lo sviluppo di progetti creativi legati all’immagine. Lo scopo del mio lavoro è quello di studiare, ascoltare e capire le esigenze dei miei clienti e di sviluppare progetti con un approccio originale rendendo la loro immagine particolare e mai scontata. Il settore della Food & Beverage Photography è senza dubbio quello in cui mi rispecchio di più per attitudine e capacità di Storytelling.

I am a local restaurant food photographer in San Juan, Puerto Rico. My career as a food photographer started two years ago when I began to create content for social media. Since then, I have dedicated all of my focus to improve my skills, and make a living from doing something that I love.

My passion for food photography drives me to constantly seek new inspiration, experiment with different styles, and evolve my techniques. The world of gastronomy is all about the senses, and that includes the eye. As a passionate photographer I have embarked on a wonderful journey to explore the art of capturing food in all its splendor and flavor. Based in The Hague, the Netherlands together with my boyfriend and lovely daughter. Life is fun and I enjoy it as much as I can. Who am I as a person? It's always difficult to say it about yourself, but when I ask friends I always hear the same thing: " Karin is a remarkable individual with a vibrant personality. Her spontaneity is infectious and she always knows how to put a smile on your face. Her enthusiasm is admirable, whether it is discovering new adventures or enjoying the small things in life." Photography is not the only thing that makes me happy. I really enjoy being at home with my family and friends. Preferably together with a delicious meal and a good glass of wine. What I also can enjoy is curling up the couch with a good book. With al large cup of tea and a bar of dark chocolate. The book must either be very exciting of a wonderful novel. The food was always a passion for me, since I was a little girl when I spent infinite hours watching and helping my mother and my grandmother cooking and baking. As a sourdough teacher myself, I understand firsthand the importance of the appearance of the food we are trying to sell or promote.
