Seventh Collection

I planned to shoot this picture of the lentil soup - to be used in a cookbook - inside the kitchen but as I arrived I found myself in decoration wonderland right outside the house and I instantly knew the picture has to be taken at this beautiful site. Even the heavy rain could not stop us. I sent the chef for a big umbrella and we were good to go. Sometimes you have to be flexible if you see the perfect background for the picture you have in your mind.

When outside is cold and windy there is nothing better than a hot soup to warm you up. We make our soups blending vegetables and seasoning them with herbs and spices. Simple food is the most photogenic.

This photo was taken at a Turkish restaurant which has a concept of "Methane" that means the place for Turkish Raki and meals of Anatolian recipes. The concept was a session of drinking and eating at the time of sunset...
