Delicious creamy soup with a touch of sea salt and fresh mint leaves as a perfect winter meal - the picture will be featured in the cook book :)
I wanted to capture the motion of falling snow by sprinkling fine coconut shreds onto this plateful of chocolaty ginger garam masala balls infused with rum. It is wonderful to introduce this holiday spirit on my table.
This is a red velvet cake, made for the birthday of a friend and shared with our coworkers at the office. A birthday during Christmas' time allows for a warm and golden design...
Hand painted macarons for a client. The painted flowers are also the flowers featured in some of the clients products like candles tins and mugs.
We decided to create a typical Halloween mood for the Jars menu photoshoot of this year, dry ice and big pumpkins gave it the required style and feel we were aiming to capture. The photoshoot was a bit challenging especially when we had to monitor several dry ice bowls at the same time.
Chocolate on chocolate with sugared berries and compote - lovely velvety textures added to a lovely Christmas setting.

Let's make wings as all-season dish. Dual-flavor (Korean BBQ /Cumin Salt and Pepper) seasoned for overnight, and baked in Tajine Pot. Can't really stop it while we have the freshly-made coleslaw on side.
I always ask my clients to place their dish where it is being served, to capture the authenticity and somewhat the ultimate anticipated experience. In this photo, I tried to recreate the mood of cooking at a rustic kitchen.
This is a very spicy chicken curry slider with avocado cream and French Fries. I'm not a professional photographer or professional chef - My motivation is passion. I prepare all of the dishes by myself and after that it's a challenge to take the pic because I normally have a few minutes to take the pic before I have to eat it.
This is a delicious fast making soft gingerbread cake with gorgonzola cheese, cream cheese and roasted pine nuts and fresh oranges on the side. A perfect mingel dish at a christmas party
These canapรฉs are consisting of pancakes and salmon and were served at cocktail hour on a wedding day at The Dolder Grand hotel in Zurich, Switzerland.
A story behind a dish is where it comes from, how it tastes, how it looks. What kind of emotions you feel. Simplicity is important but never, ever forget the finish touch.
In the language of flowers, rosemary is emblematic of remembrance, so this caramel cake is topped with a halo of rosemary as a way to remember and honor my grandmother. Since her name was Rose โ another flower โ I feel that it carries extra meaning. She was an outstanding baker, and specialized in jumbo caramel rolls, so I know she would have liked this cake.
Ingredients for one of my favorite quick meals - mussels dijonnaise. Mussels, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, shallots & parsley. Dijon mustard and sauvignon blanc bring out the flavor.
This is one of my favorite food photography. It combine human subject with food. The focus is still on the food rather than a portraiture. I like this approach. It makes food photography interesting and can stir people's curiosity and appetite more easily. Besides good looking food, the people behind also need to be a good model for sure. haha.
This was taken at a bakery shop called Iris Tea & Bakery, located at Flushing, New York.
A cozy breakfast for wintery mornings is captured with this warm and hearty chai-spiced porridge adorned with slices of persimmon, chunks of banana, pan toasted sunflower seeds and goji berries. The fur throw backdrop adds a touch of elegance, texture, and accentuates that warm and fuzzy feeling.
What's better than a delicious roasted turkey for Thanksgiving prepared meticulously by Michelin Star Chefs.
A nice Autumn mood even in the middle of the desert.
Bon appetit..

We had the great opportunity to photograph these delicacies and we could taste them right afterwards. These photos were taken to be used on the cook's website and to promote their new product line consisting of oils, vinegars, salt and spices.
The beauty and simplicity of culinary food served straight out a food truck. This photo was shot on a classical music festival in The Netherlands. Culinary food blends so well with classical music.
Dreamy pull apart cinnamon pecan rolls take the center stage in this picture. I just love the scrumptious texture of the pillowy dough and the mouthwatering butter-sour cream vanilla icing that graces on top of each of these bundles of joy.
A nice Christmas desert selection including Panettone and chocolate truffles.
This photo was shot in Dubai in August and the main challenge was to try to give it a genuine Christmas mood & feel despite the extremely hot weather we had during our shoot.
A Christmas feast created at the lovely Bronte Restaurant on the Strand. All the richness of a beautiful duck dish, a stunning fish dish with beetroot jus and the trimmings of good wine, roasted parsnips and baby potatoes.

Taking photos for a cook is always special as super delicious things are created. The new product line of this cook is called Cook Element and it's based on the five elements wood, fire, soil, metal and water.
This was taken with executive pastry chef Andy Blas - such a simple, elegant chocolate torte with all the beautiful embellishment of silver leaf and nuts.
It was for a commission by the wonderful Seasoned by Chefs magazine who I love shooting for.
