Like the cartoon character Popeye I do really like spinach soup. It is a healty and well tasting soup that goes well with eggs. Perhaps it is a wonder soup that makes you strong as a super person like Popeye when hi is eating it or maybe it is only in the cartoon world

I used natural light. I prepared this dish and plated after one of my favorite cooks from Romania, Chef Nico Lontras. A nice layer of tonka cream is hidden under "thick" layer of edible earth (made of chocolate). Fresh fruits and crunchy finnish bread were used to decorate and enhance the taste.

These cupcakes were made to Cidália, who celebrated her birthday recently and were a present from her daughter, Márcia. It was my absolute pleasure to make them and be part of their special dinner. They were Greek yogurt cupcakes, with raspberry coulis and vanilla buttercream: yum!

Chicken leftovers and a great broth from yesterdays chicken boil became a very tasty ramen - My motivation is passion. I prepare all of the dishes by myself and after that it's a challenge to take the pic because I normally have a few minutes to take the pic before I have to eat it.

The finished product - biscotti with pecans and dried cranberries garnished with melted chocolates and ground pecans.  I enjoyed them dipped in coffee followed by a nice nap.

The Moscow Mule is a very common drink around my home.  I love the look of the copper mug and on a slow day I decided to photograph one just to do it.  Most of my photography is for restaurants, so it is always fun just to do something on my own.  I created this image by a window in my home using only window light.
