The picture was taken for the needs of Emalco Enamelware Company. The idea wad to present another way of using their producs in our daily life.
It's almost Christmas and these chocolate tarts set the scene. The really talented Andy Blas, expert patisserie chef from Cafe Royal, London. This was shot for a lovely feature in Seasoned by Chef Magazine. I just love the silkiness of the chocolate edge...but then, I would - the sweet tooth in me had to be restrained when I shot it.

The picture was taken for Emalco Enamelware Company and presents an Apple And Pumpkin Pie baked in an enamel mug. The idea was to present other ways of using enamel mugs and what better way to use them if not in baking? :)
Flight of Andrea's dark chocolate truffles (Sea Salt Cognac, Ginger & Vinaigrette, Coffee) served at 'The Patio on Goldfinch' in Mission Hills. Andrea is a local chocolatier in San Diego.
A super healthy tuna poke bowl with chunks of fresh yellow tail tuna, seaweed and pickled cucumbers on top of a bed of steamed riced cauliflower. The finishing touch is the avocado rose, fish roe and spicy mayonnaise and sesame seeds to complement the main ingredients with a contrast of colors and flavors.
The best to feel the dough is to knead by your own. Green onion and dried pulled pork toast with scrambled duck eggs there are the perfect combination for breakfast.
Another creation from the talented Adam Bennett - this time a roast duck with roast vegetables - now this is what you want for Thanksgiving or Christmas, a nice change from turkey perhaps?! Love the surface texture too - gorgeousness!

This is my quick and easy twist on famous Toscan soup - ribollita. I made it with cannelini beans, tomatoes and kale and served with parmesan garlic toasted bread. The idea behind this picture was to make it look rustic and autumnal.
Sometimes the simplest things are the best things at the same time, so we shouldn't always go for everything fancy and complicated... The idea was to show beauty in simplicity.
Playing around with some random captures while on an Editorial photo-shoot assignment for DiningOutSD at the colorful 'Casa De Reyes' in Old Town. It's part of the historic Fiesta De Reyes complex in San Diego.
Canapés are not just super delicious, it’s also delightful to photograph these masterpieces! Here you can see some salmon appetizers.
A stack of fluffy banana bread pancakes with morsels of mini chocolate chips mixed in is a favorite weekend breakfast choice in the house. Top these pancakes off with slices of bananas, honey roasted pecans and lots...lots of Nutella sauce drizzles. I shot this image to showcase the delicious texture and the taste of each element of this morning ensemble.
"Galatopita" a traditional Greek dessert. This milk custard pie is silky, citrusy with the beautiful addition of pistachios. A gluten free twist on a family recipe.
Spanish Paella made for heaven- but made in Sweden by @arnesmat. Saffron, shellfish and clams is a heavenly taste combination and also beautiful for resting your eyes on.
Beef cheeks braised with freshly tomato and basil sauce with mashed potato sliders. I can't really complaint anything about the texture of beef cheeks, tender but not fat, and more importantly its price is only 60-70% of briskets, hard to find in Toronto though.
Another joy from the kitchen of Chef Adam Bennett at The Cross Michelin starred restaurant in Kenilworth, England. It's a simple butternut squash, pear and seeds salad but with a combination of colours, textures and flavours that stand out from this talented chef!

This is a photo of a simple fish and seafood soup made according to an italian recipe with cannellini beans and tomatoes. I made it for my husband who is a huge fan of all seafood dishes.
Marquise chocolate cake with dulce de leche filling and topped with whipped cream. I think the beauty of a macro shot lies within the details it portraits.
