This is one of my favorite images. I used a diffuser behind my main diffuser to create the background patterns while playing with the photo horizon to achieve this dynamic final image.
I've had this amazing plate by @madeinjapanuk in my collection for months and tried my plating skills with a beetroot tartare with a horseradish quenelle. Studio lights were the better choice to daylight, to get the shape of the plate evenly lit.

This amazing dessert was created by the pastry chefs at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I was fortunate to be able to use the abundant window light in the restaurant to illuminate the product.
