This summer pasta is so delightful as it is loaded with lots of flavors and comfort. Spaghetti generously coated with a lemon juice and anchovy paste dressing along with sautรฉed seasonal squashes and tomatoes and torn pieces of melt in your mouth burrata. Not to mention it is also pleasing to the eye.


Macarons with dulce de leche filling and one of my succulents... Because succulents make everything look better!


Avensole Winery in Temecula, California recently hosted a lovely Media Event for the announcement of 2016 So Cal Chef Open. Pastry chefs executed perfect Parisian macarons of various flavors. The leafy decoration on the other side of the food display provided unique framing for these irresistible chocolate flavored macarons.


This cocktail was photographed at Barcito in downtown Los Angeles. Barcito is an Agentine style bar and eatery with small plates. There was a window at camera-right that provided really nice light beaming through the the cocktail. Refreshing and perfect for the hot summers in Los Angeles.

This is the wonderful creation of Chef Bryn Williams at Odettes Restaurant, London. It's a beautiful strawberry panna cotta with wild strawberries. Pretty delicious for words!

Halawet el jibn (sweet cheese rolls), one of the Middle/Eastern Arabic sweets which everyone in my family craves for it especially during Ramadan,,and no wonder! As it is so luscious youโll get addicted! ! It is a traditional Syrian dessert and very famous in Levant region. Usually we get it from Arabic sweets shops, here in UAE they have various Arabic sweets such as; Konafa, Qatayef, Halwet el jibn,โฆ and much more! And they taste just amazing!


Meat Fruit by the Heston Blumenthal team at Dinner in London. Chicken liver parfait disguised as a Mandarin.


Do you know red-love-apples? They are completely red. Inside and outside. And they are so delicious. This homemade waffles and curd have been made out of them.


Simple recipes are often the best. This was a campain for a truffle product that is served with homemade pasta.


Whenever you hear eggnog, you think of christmas or maybe easter seasons, but eggnog in combination with passion fruit is the perfect taste of summer. In this case I made a eggnog passion fruit icecream. You definately should give it a try.

Summer weekends are always fun. The award-winning Spa Resort 'Rancho La Puerta' debuts an amazing kitchen/cooking-school called 'La Cocina Que Canta'. Sunday Brunch-Wine-Bazaar is a one-day tour to introduce their chef and culinary specialties to the world. On one such trip representing DiningOutSD magazine, was fortunate to sample multiple farm-to-fresh courses, including this colorful Mango Pana Cotta (Figs and herbs courtesy of on-site 6-acre farm).


A project for Chang Beer shot at Gala Thai in Los Angeles. Thai food is known for its vibrant colors and flavors, so we accented the table with chilies, lemongrass, nuts, and various sauces.

What about a Middle Eastern dish that is very famous in So many Arabic countries and considered a stable in Saudi Arabia?! A national Saudi dish called Kabsa! its is a rice based dish that can be made with chicken, meat or even fish.

The idea behind this picture was to show cooking in not an ordinary way. I made a bonfire and used heat-proof enamelware made by Emalco to prepare my meal.
The photo shoot was real fun!


Loews Coronado Bay Resort at Silver Strands beach in Coronado CA, was playing host to the weekend Bay Sessions (To promote local San Diego music bands) and Media party. This click features my friend's cocktail along with my mocktail. Was trying to generate the effect of effervescence (bubbles popping out of the straw) using ambient lighting and the surrounding objects that were present.


Three Michelin starred, Alain Roux of The Waterside Inn, Bray (UK) created this gorgeous summer dish - Strawberry Gazpacho with cured ham and balsamic vinegar
