Forty-First Collection
It´s a famous receipt, from A Escola by the Artist restaurant, located in Porto, Portugal. Created by the chef Hugo Dias it's composed by, eggs, shrimps, urchin, and secret sauce. It makes part of the Sensory Summer Menu of this famous restaurant.
These beautiful spring rolls were cooked and shot for my upcoming cookbook and are a recipe from my neighbor.

I shot this photograph at a restaurant called Aurum Lounge in Middlesbrough, in the North East of England. It's independently owned and ran and loves to give a sense of 'home away from home' in the surroundings and food they serve. The menu is designed to be from 'paddock to plate', only the best organic products find their way onto the menu.
The restaurant have fabulous floor to ceiling windows, giving great natural light into the room. On the day that I shot this, the light was perfect and all I needed was a little diffused light from my speedlight to fill in some of the detail around the burger, making it the star of the show.
Tomato soup with chorizo. Even a simple daily soup took on the character with such an expressive addition. I took this photo in daylight.

Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cupcakes - Rich, moist and fudgy chocolate cupcake with a mini Reese’s cup baked into the center and topped off with a smooth, luxurious and velvety peanut butter frosting.
I first saw this Spanish salted fish last summer, the light was hitting the skin in a way that brought out amazing tones of red, orange and brown. I made it my mission to try and recapture the same tones
The fruit of life -pomegranate and its juicy and sweet seeds are ready to eat them. I took this photo in artificial light with diffusion.
Popcorn/cocos/creme fraiche amazing dessert created by master chef Dennis Huwaë of restaurant Daalder in Amsterdam City. Crafted to look like real corn. You have to taste to know! :)
