I took this photograph in Calabria, at the Abbruzzino Restaurant. The hand of the chef while he finishes the dish by pouring the sauce, gives a feeling of dynamism and elegance.

As Lunar New Year is approaching, Mandarin citrus is in abundance as it symbolize fortune. The fruit was sprayed with fresh water and shot closed-up; highlighting its natural beauty.

A classic black-on-black shot of some squid ink fettuccini with black olives. Loved playing with a very monochromatic scene, where the difference between light and shadow is minimal, and the only bit of colour (the green of the sage) is welcomed by the eye.

This vegan cherry pie is a must when it's cherry season. It is summery and bring pure joy to anyone who's lucky enough to bite into this golden crust.

These raspberry tartelletes came from the store and I Made them a bit more Beautiful with Some eatable gold and Some Cress. The tartelletes contained a Very Tasty raspberry mouse.

Black Tobiko on smoky stones. Here I played with black and golden colours. The styling was made with simplicity as to accentuate the luxurious feel from the colour and texture.

This rimlight shot of a bottle of champagne and glass was shot with one very narrow strip softbox. The placement was everything! Bubble tip: add a little bit of sugar to the drink, and it reactivates the bubbles for a few seconds.

Sushi is a gigantic world of colors, flavors, and textures in such a small piece ... shoot this photo looking for the exact moment when the sauce hits and becomes part of a whole!
