Still life with garden lemons.
Inspired by the beautifully lit paintings of the Dutch masters and my carefully nurtured crop of fragrant lemons, whose delicious aroma wafted from the table as I captured them.
Half a day of throwing things at coffee!!! This shot was a lesson in patience and perseverance for me. It’s fascinating the different shapes that presented themselves. I’m super happy with this final shop which has just the right amount of energy and flows!
Macaroons are light, airy and colourful, with a range of traditional flavours that include coffee, strawberry and lemon. The outer shell is crisp, the inner cookie is slightly chewy, with a creamy filling.
A twist on the classic Mojito, adding kumquats to the lime.
Photographed in the studio with the use of two lights, one to create the shadow and the light in the glass the other to balance the backdrop colour and the foreground tones of the glass.

I’ve been longing to get my hands on one of these cakes from La Torteria Como. This cake shop makes some of the most beautiful cakes in the region. This one is a “simple” vanilla and cream cake topped with fruits and berries.
Summertime is apricot time. The fragrant of a fresh-baked fluffy and sugar-free apricot cake is some of the best - Picture shot by natural light, straight out of the camera.
Fluffy pots of dark chocolate water mousse. How amazing that a simple blend of dark couverture, water, vanilla, and salt can create rich pots of decadence like this. Simple capture of the rich mousse texture, glass, and natural afternoon light can be so enticing.

Homegrown sweet peas. I joined a lovely catering duo out in their Irish country farmhouse for a midsummer feast and these were on the menu. Writing all their own recipes, the girls are inspired by the abundance of fruit and veg that grows in their kitchen garden.
"Santa Rosa" is the longest-running cheesemaking company in Argentina, they are dedicated to making cheeses of the highest quality. We were asked to make images at the same standard than the product, and we did it.
A great group of professional friends worked in this campaign: Client, Art director, food stylist, and photography team, all together involved from the beginning of the project, choosing the best props, backgrounds, and ingredients to give this images the quality cheese deserves.
I personally enjoyed meticulously lighting each of these images.

Pappardelle with wild boar sauce. In this shot, I tried to pass on cooking, especially when I prepare homemade pasta, the smell and the goodness of this dish.

Winter light in Australia and warming foods! This dish was a winner with my family - beef and ricotta meatballs with baked semolina gnocchi both from the Ottolenghi cookbook Simple. Shot with natural light, Canon 5D Mark IV, 50mm Sigma Art Series lens.
Chocolate, Raspberry & Coconut Cake
The delicious flavor combination for this cake was created by my 5-year-old son! Beautifully soft layers of chocolate and coconut cake are sandwiched with a lush coconut cream cheese frosting and sweet-tart raspberry jam. The cake is completed with fresh raspberries on top.
