For this photograph, I wanted to see how deep, dramatic and luxurious a single color palette could feel when you let light and shadow do the heavy lifting.
This photograph captures Norwegian black kale in a simple but dramatic way. The close-up view highlights the rich texture of the leaves, while droplets of water bring out their natural details. Using soft, low-key lighting, the image reveals the beauty and character of a seasonal vegetable that is often overlooked.
