This image was created at Bracerie Venete, a long standing client of mine and widely regarded as one of the finest steak restaurants in my region.
The goal was to shape a warm yet slightly mysterious atmosphere, with the light carefully directed to emphasize the hand and the key elements of the dish, enhancing both texture and depth.

A rustic loaf sits in quiet shadow, its cracked, blistered crust catching a soft, directional light. The low-key setup emphasizes texture and contrast, turning the bread into something almost sculptural. A knife and scattered newspaper add a subtle, everyday narrative, while the dark background keeps the focus on mood and form.
