Two hands bend an orange peel over a crystal-clear cocktail — and for a fraction of a second, the citrus oils catch the light and fill the dark frame like a private fireworks display.

Shot with hard directional light against a near-black background, the mist of expressed oils is frozen mid-air by a fast shutter — hundreds of individual droplets visible between the peel and the glass below. The bar mat's geometric pattern grounds the frame while the dark apron and ornate hardware behind the bartender add depth without distraction.

The cocktail in the glass is almost colorless — pale, clean, waiting. The entire drama of the image lives in that suspended cloud of oil between two hands and a drink that's one second away from being finished.
