One Hundred and Tenth Collection


Photo taken during dinner with chefs. One of them was Mateusz Szpytma, a master of Polish cuisine in a modern version, who combines it with Italian and French cuisine. Nowadays you can try his cuisine at Palac Brun贸w / Poland
On the plate we have saddle of deer / black salsify / morels / carrot flan / pumpkin toffee / white poppy / various herbs and on the very top was a praline made of dogwood.

One day I've received a call from Marina Ravarotto (a well know chef here in Sardinia) telling me she received a nomination to be part of the Micheline Guide an she needed some photos to send them over for the guide. I wasn't aware of the beauty of her dishes. This is the first photo I've took for her and since then, we kept collaborating for her new wonderful menus.


Beautifully decorated tree, fairy lights, festive cosiness and, of course, delicious chocolate: the essence of Christmas Magic in one picture!


There is nothing more Christmassy than a Gingerbread Cake with Gingerbread Cookies. I used Chiroscuro lighting for this to give a winter feeling and allowed the colours from the buttercream icing to stand out.

This work was created for the communication of a new charcuterie product derived from the Casertano black pig, for a Modenese company that has been present in Italy for two generations, with its processing facility located in the Apennines. I developed both the photographic aspect and the basic concept used to present all the various products. Its name is **OPUS NERA**
Inspired by the name, I set up the images on a glossy black surface with a black backdrop illuminated by a base light. The product is lit with a softbox positioned on the left and a few reflective panels. Et voil脿, the shot is done! Then, it's time for post-production to finalize the image.

This elegant culinary shot features roasted mushrooms, hazelnuts, and fresh herbs, beautifully plated on a white porcelain dish with a gold rim, set against a warm wooden table for a minimalist yet refined presentation.

With this photo I wanted to transmit the magic of an American Christmas, it was taken in a shooting for the social networks of an American-style restaurant in Rome (Maat American Cafe').
