Longing for the Summer Sun!

Blueberries, were called “star fruits” by North American
indigenous peoples because of the five-pointed star shape
that is formed at the blossom end of the berry.
The blueberry is one of the only foods that is truly naturally blue in colour.

Plating food is an art: beyond satisfying the palate, the eyes also need to be pleased. Presenting a dish in the best possible way is truly important, as is knowing how to describe it. And the chef at @la_LocandadiPietro, where I took this photo, knows this very well.

The Authentic. This is the name of this sourdough bread. I eat this most of the time with cheese or jam for breakfast. I found it so photogenic that I had to capture this moment before I sliced it.
I liked the colors of my setting that my eyes could see, the depth and contrast that the natural light gave.

This shot explores the moody side of autumn food photography. I focused on a monochromatic palette of burgundies and purples to create a rich, atmospheric scene. The star of the show is this vibrant salad featuring roasted beets, fresh figs, and berries.

Oil on salad is very important: the dressing is what makes the difference in a simple dish. Using high-quality oil is a choice that should be noticed and highlighted, as in this photo taken at @la_LocandadiPietro, in the center of Rome.

Ramen is a popular Japanese soup with noodles, fresh vegetables, meat and boiled egg.

The Caprese, a typical dish of Italian culture, healthy and refreshing, but it must be prepared with excellent tomatoes, fragrant basil, and fresh mozzarella. All this can be found at @la_LocandadiPietro restaurant, in the center of Rome, where I was able to capture this wonderful image.
