Blue butterfly pea flower is very interesting. Its brilliant blue colour turns purple when mixed with lemon juice.
I made an iced tea drink with this healthy flower tea. I mixed the tea with lemon juice and sugar syrup first; then I poured it onto a glass filled with ice cubes. The fresh butterfly pea vines and blossoms are scattered around the glass.

I love gin. Every time I start a photo shoot of a type of gin, I think about how I could photograph it in such a way that it feels a little like the feeling it gives me when I sip it from my glass at night. This is the result of a story because each photo has a story that I look forward to showing you.
Thank you #foodelia team for this chance. It's an honor to be here.
Thank you @thepr1mebeachclub restaurant, Monte Gordo, Portugal for location and materials. Thank you for my assistant photographer and bartender @diogopinteus.
Thank you God that I can see the beauty of the world!
I loved how textured this bread was and wanted to highlight that with some soft feathered lighting but keep a dark moody feel to the shot.
The new Wine & Nine restaurant approached me to shoot their new billboard campaign to be place throughout Australia's Sunshine Coast's Sunshine Plaza. We took an approach on featuring their generous servings of beautiful ingredients they use to dress each of their dishes. Seriously show stopping dishes that just begged to be shot in detail with a 100mm macro on the Canon's 5DSR for all the details when this series get blown up large!
Drinks were never my favorite subject to photograph. So I decided to try one to see how well I could get it done.

I wanted to create a bright, bold image that would highlight the beauty of citrus. I used a speedlight and reflector to bring the hard light appearance of a bright, sunny day.
This is a bowl of my vegan black-eyed pea soup recipe lit with backlight (artificial light) with a 55-inch octabox, with the main diffusion pulled down. I added a black card on the left. I added homegrown kohlrabi sprouts for texture and color.
This lobster tail impressed me with its colour and near perfect shape.
It’s like a piece of art and doesn’t need any props which, in my opinion, would only distract from its natural beauty.
And I was lucky enough to get to eat this piece of beauty after the photo shoot...
Rainy afternoons and tea with biscuits is the most perfect match. I'm working with shadows and backlighting here to bring out the texture and detail of the subjects.
Meal from Morocco. This photo includes a range of modern Moroccan dishes including starters and mains. Using a Tajine is a key part of Moroccan tradition in their cuisine, so it was important to me to feature them in this photo.
I used a Nikon D750 with a 24-70mm lens to shoot this.
Soft landing of an ice cube was taken in 40 degrees Celsius outside in natural light. My intention was to “freeze” the moment despite the temperature. In these weather conditions I didn’t have to bother with the condensation, the ice and the sun did a great job and set remarkable scene to my set up.
Baked cauliflower with brown butter. The recipe is from a chef in Sweden. The dark mood, the rustic wood and the cauliflower as a light in the picture go well with this. It's a winter dish.
Achieved a classic pizza pull with white glue and mozzarella cheese and a slight GOBO effect on the backdrop to create a warm and inviting look.

After a long evening of shooting a very detailed cheese, olives and wine setup, I started to clean up and I noticed the oil started to drip off the rosemary and the light hit these delicious olives and feta just perfectly, I just had to take the shot. And I celebrated with a glass of wine. Sometimes, it's the simple things that make the greatest impressions.
