I love capturing the unusual and when I found this Chocolate Bubble Wrap recipe it was a perfect fit for a delicious chocolate mousse garnished with raspberries.  The the pots and plate added texture and a cool colour palette to the image.

I had just purchased a dozen clams and decided to make a chili corn chowder.  Because the clams were not going into the chowder directly I added clam juice to the broth.  Corn, littleneck clams and chili peppers completed the recipe.  Shot overhead with a Nikon D850, 24-70 lens at 60mm, f/7.1, and one Profoto B1 mounted in a 1X3 strip softbox.

I created this image for a local bakery . They wanted to get there signature focaccia styled and shot 3 different ways. This is a focaccia drizzled with a saffron star anis syrup, topped with vanilla cream cheese and a pear poached in saffron, cinnamon and star anis.

I’ve shot these mini bundt cakes using different angles but backlighting at a slight angle worked magical on the glaze. I’ve included some lights to make this composition more festive but went for very small subtle ones to enhance the softness of the scene.
