Ninety-Eighth Collection
I love combining deep greens with festive gold on images that must radiate the holiday vibes - and I think I nailed it with a frozen action above this delicious Christmas bake called stollen.
Salted caramel. Advertising photo of an online store of craft dairy products, a local Ukrainian business.
The choice of delicate, pastel colours and soft lighting is due to the desire to create an idea of levitation and movement, but at the same time a visual feeling of relaxation. Used of studio lighting and different images blended in post-production.
One tradition passed down through my family is to make pears poached in Riesling, lemon, sugar and vanilla for the holidays. This image was shot on a Nikon z7ii at 125s, 48mm, f/7.1 using artificial light.
Wonderful dish by Guy Ravet, Chef at Grand Hôtel du Lac, with 17 Gault & Millau points. This was cooked at Gourmet festival by Reisebüro Mittelthurgau on the boat trip between Basel and Strasbourg. I had the pleasure to take pictures of all dishes.
I shot this image of dripping cherries on a fork for my qualification to became a Silver Master Photographer (and it was succesfull).
I shot it with 2 flashes and the drops are colored honey. I find the vintage fork in a second hand shop.
Shot this for Petry Bistro seasonal menu, in a 70's classy concept. Showcased the stake as the hero of the shot, but sides also present.
This picture was a lot of fun and quite a bit of a mess from jumping the glasses on a gloss black plexi.
One thing I love about food photography is getting to enjoy the food in the photos! Here it was hot cocoa, and made for the perfect treat during these cold winter days. I chose to use mini marshmallows to add to the sense of movement from the spilling cocoa. I wanted the movement to begin at the top of the frame, and travel all the way through to the bottom, so I made sure to get those upper splashes nice and high (and messy!) and then let the rest spill down the sides. Hot cocoa is such a fun drink, and that's what I wanted to show.
"Gingerbread house"
I made these beautiful cookies for a TVC so that they could be used by a little girl who had to put them on the tree. Since they bring a full holiday spirit, I took them back with me to the studio to make a shoot. The shooting is realised by using two different backgrounds, one of them black to give more focus on cookies and the other one wood covered by artificial snow. I Have used only one artificial light and shoot with Canon.
Homemade granola with Greek yogurt, maple syrup and fresh blackberries and blueberries in glasses. Promotional photo shoot of the local Ukrainian family cafe.
Shot this for Petry Bistro seasonal menu, in a 70's classy concept. Used fabric, texture and jewelry to create the classy look.
