This was created for a food truck client that sells New York style "Cheesecake-on-a-stick" desserts. This is their Cookies&Cream version that is topped with Nutella, and yes I got to try this cheesecake after the photoshoot. :) Show more

Ohhh yes we love Tequila, a "Crystal Paloma". A drink with clarified tequila, lime and a bit of salt.

Curtis Gallon Johannesburg (South Africa) @curtisgallon

Biscuits and cheese, served floating on a bed of flowers. This was shot for a restaurant in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa. Shot with flash I really tried to copy the natural light that would appear in the restaurant during its lunch service. We had to shoot this in studio because of some restrictions. Show more

Skaiste Malevskiene Vilnius (Lithuania) @posing_forks @posing_forks

Sometimes all you need is a small bucket of happiness. A magical taste and texture of blueberry-blackberry ice cream. Ice cream always makes things better. Show more

Ariyani Tedjo Jakarta (Indonesia) @miel.fotograaf

Coffee Jelly. A popular jelly flavour often served as part of Japanese meal. Commonly made with instant coffee; this time I tried with Indonesian ground coffee for a stronger taste of coffee. It is then drizzled with milk.

Julia Wharington Melbourne (Australia) Paddock 2 Pixel @paddock2pixel

My very first attempt at light painting. This was done with the torch on my phone, 15sec exposure, and about 400 attempts, trying to get smooth looking circles around the glass. Show more

Maxine Lock Sydney (Australia) @locklickimages.foodphotography

For this image I wanted to do something fun with macarons, strings and having it appear as if they were "levitating". So after a few tries of different type of macarons and string colours, compositions, and post-production work; this was the final result. Show more

Leonardo Espina Houston (United States) LeoSpin @leospinphoto

Tuna Tartar. Shot for a restaurant in Sandton with flash.

I love the colour pallet of this shot, soft pinks and golds. the trickiest part of this shot was getting the hard light to look natural. The dish bursts with flavours of ginger. Show more

Skaiste Malevskiene Vilnius (Lithuania) @posing_forks @posing_forks

This picture is about the details of the grilled meat. I was trying to convey the heat, the scent, the sound and even the Maillard reaction that makes this steak so irresistibly delicious. Show more

Tim Green Leeds (United Kingdom) @timgreenphoto

Cured Chalk Stream Trout, Ponzu Roe, Seaweed, Yogurt, Dill Oil and Purple Radish, dish by Michelin Star chef Michael Wignall, of The Angel at Hetton. The balance of this dish is amazing, and not only developed in the kitchen, but also on an artists pad, well it is a work of art on a plate!! Show more

Ieva Stanienė Kaunas (Lithuania) @dar_kasneli

I took this photo in the middle of a cold winter, when I was missing sun, fresh fruit and colors of summer. I wanted the scene to look busy but also balanced so I left some negative space. Show more

Reka Csulak Espoo (Finland) Three Pod Studio @rekacsulak

Turkish Delight is a sweet memory. It fills all the senses. If you haven't tried it yet, it definitely should be on the list. Perfect to pair with a strong coffee.

The photo is a one-shot with a single flash as a light source and a bounce card. I've used a handful of tooth sticks and a clip holder to support the "flying" pieces. Edited in Photoshop for colour corrections and to remove the supporting elements. Show more
