I found an old window in its frame at the recycling center and a friend gave me some olive branches from her olive tree which both were used to create this scene. I angled my Godox AD300 through a scrim to emulate winter window light and to illuminate this delicious Spiced Carrot and Walnut Bundt Cake.

After shooting the menu for a local restaurant, I noticed how they had this one table that became bathed in some beautiful afternoon sunlight. I asked the restaurant manager to sit down at the table and we had a server bring one of the menu items out for this impromptu shot.

Which age in-house between 5-7 days for a much-concentrated flavor of the duck breast. Before serving, it will then be pre-seared to give that crispiness to the Duck skin. It is paired with lemongrass and tamarind paste for a sweet and sour flavor.<br />
<br />
On the side,  a sausage made from the trimmings of the duck and wrapped with betel leaf to give it a little more aromatics.<br />

This is my Mille Feuille with Ruff Puff Pastry, topped with Pickled Strawberries in balsamic vinegar, infused with rosemary and vanilla.  The layers contain piped sweetened Ricotta.  The flavours were so amazing, they just balanced themselves perfectly.

I had a little downtime while the kitchen was prepping the next round of dishes, so I decided to move a few things around to give the table and dishes a little personality. Several shots like this were a surprise for the client who absolutely loved them.
