I took this picture outside, during a gathering & styling event for food photographers. I brought my sister & aunt with me as they love photography as well. Such a fun day and it feels good to be surrounded by like minded people. They inspire you and can help you, by being a hand model like in this picture. Unfortunately summer is over but looking at this picture it brings back the summer vibes.

Thank you @ Foodelia. My idea behind this image was to create a different splash shot. Bought Ama caffe for me and inspired by the song of the Albanian singer Dua Lipa - "Bl@w your mind", I was like - that's it ! - a coffee that can bl@w your mind. However, the realization took me hours and hours of different shots and countless hours of editing and blending the 11 images in one. But I absolutely love the final result.
I wanted to experiment with two backdrops creating a scene in which the lower backdrop gives depth to the image and the upper backdrop is the "table." One of my favorite subjects is oysters so I created the scene with them, my favorite plates and my antique seafood forks. Shot with artificial light and a strip box with grid.
Being able to show a bit of magic in an image, involving the main ingredients that make up the selected recipe and making it the most palatable in sight
Braised Beef Cheeks with Shallot Jus
Juicy, meltingly tender beef cheeks, slow braised in red wine and served with a sweet and sour shallot jus is a restaurant quality dish perfect for a dinner party. We wanted to show how a rustic and comforting dish can be turned into an elegant dish like this with just a few simple touches.
Different colours evoke different moods and emotions, which help viewers to connect with the story one is trying to tell. With this in mind, I set up the scene to shoot in natural daylight on a wooden backdrop, using few props and filler boards and applying the analogous colour theory. My aim was to create a scene that would give a restaurant feel but yet be warm and inviting.
The story of a cozy relaxing evening with tea and belgian waffles. I wanted to convey this atmosphere with a moody light combined with deep green-blue colors. The combination of color and light gives charm and nobility to this photo and tasty waffles with jam invite us to join the table.
This is by far my family's favorite pizza. Fresh rocket, Parma ham and Parmesan cheese always evoke memories of the time spent in sunny Italy. When I used to be on ketogenic diet, I was very happy that I can also prepare it in the keto version. And by the way, it was a great opportunity to take a picture to perpetuate the memories
Autumn weather is perfect for cup of a hot coffee. I tried to capture beauty of the steam as it fascinates me so much. This is the first photo using flash.
A joy to photograph, this dish was heavy on texture with the bespoke handmade bowl offering a really lovely rough surface that contrasted perfectly with the dark hand-varnished background.
Adding a shadowy human element to this frame made the chocolate cherry parfait infinitely more seductive, with the focal point being the deep red cherry, bathed in glossy chocolate syrup and late afternoon light.
Love these dainty pears; its red blush is a beauty! So before eating, I took them for a photo shoot. The image is then edited to a style resembling a vintage painting.

When shooting this orange cake I had a disastrous day, my camera batteries died and any compositions I made didn’t please me enough. So I just let it rest till tomorrow in this lovely basket in my kitchen. And then the next day composition was born by itself.
I’m in love with any and all types of donuts. These moist and fluffy donuts, covered in a thick full of chocolate and caramel glaze is a sweets lover’s dream!
A delicious gluten free waffles, fruit and hot coffee for breakfast. An overhead shot, with a very soft light and reflector to fill in the shadows.
Pain Perdu - French toast, thick Greek yoghurt, berries, pistachios and lashings of maple syrup... the perfect brunch! Presented by Perch Cafe and Restaurant, Loch Lomond, Scotland, UK
The color of this amazingly beautiful and tasty quiche baked by my client was intensely green so I didn't want other colors to interfere with it. I have chosen my white backdrop and a monochromatic color scheme which in my opinion is pleasing for the eye in this image and gives an accent on the quiche.
Trying to be a bit creative with milk drops in a coffee glass and bringing out the texture. Applying a similar effect at the bottom of the image with dry ice and bringing out a smoky feel.
I wanted to create an inviting atmosphere of the autumn table. Pumpkin pancakes at their best with a gentle touch of powdered sugar.
Levitation in food photography was always my goal and thing I wanted to learn. It appears it’s not that complicated in the end and brings so much fun
it wasn't easy open the beer bottle with the right foam (I put it in freezer) but...you know, I had to open many bottles and drink only a few :-)
A splash of coffee.
I don't like mess so this was way out of my comfort zone.
To create the splash I used a big ice cube and dropped it into the glass. This was not the first shot and I caught myself cleaning after almost every single click. It was challenging but also so much fun to do. The mood makes it a bit dramatic but the color of the splash/coffee also expresses fun & joy.
