It's not easy to capture fire on plates this large. A huge Himalayan salt slab, mixed with tequila and high heat, allowed us to capture this striking image after several attempts. Was it worth it? Absolutely!

The Salty Fish Bar in Jakarta asked me to take photos of their new food menu while keeping the mood light. In this group shot, I aimed to create a natural light feel while capturing The Salty Fish's cozy and warm vibe.

Whenever a knife is inserted, the aroma of the meat bursts forth with the steam that rises from the meat.
The heat and the moment interweave to create a "realistic sense of deliciousness," which cannot be achieved by simply grilling the meat.
The instinct of appetite is awakened with each slice.

A masterpiece in the making. Chef Matthias, Head Chef of the iconic Zum Weißen Rauchfangkehrer, adds the final touch to his culinary creation. His tattooed hands, symbols of his journey and passion, reflect the artistry and precision he brings to each dish. We always tell our students that sushi is one of those dishes that can never be missing from your food photography portfolio. This time, we captured this beautiful and colorful maki, highlighting its textures and colors.

I'm trying to use up all the fresh produce before going on vacation. No recipe, no problem. Just put everything in a large bowl, mix it all in, and enjoy.
