Seventy-First Collection
I like to imagine photos whit color as a starting point because food and color are linked to emotions. And if an image does not excite us, it is halfway there.
These scallops are originally neutral in color but it’s a special summer dish at this restaurant. For this reason, I posed the photo in this palette of opposites, with yellow as the protagonist.
One of my favourite companions for tea. Canelé de Bordeaux, made into mini size. Made by a pâtisserie famous for its authentic French bread and pastry here in Jakarta. When I made the shot just before tea time, the sun was shining a truly beautiful golden light. I like how the canelés gleam in this beautiful natural light.
A nice picknick in the woods, just between summer and fall. Notice the balance between the brown colouring of background, table and chair, and the colourfulness of the food and drinks!
Just adding some gold to an already beautiful Chocolate & Blackberry Éclair by Executive Pastry Chef @nicolasrouzaud @connaughtpatisserie , London.
Now with blackberries and figs in season I use them everywhere, but my favorite thing though is to have them both with baked camembert cheese and a slice of sourdough bread.
Trout caviar, backlit, on a bed of rocks. A rather unusual way of serving food but I think it just works, considering trouts live in rocky, cold and fast flowing rivers.
This images was created to have a contrast between the dreamy soft bokeh background against the clarity and sharpness of a pour shot.
In the photo a Margarita, shown as a queen among drinks. The first taste takes us to sunny Mexico.
Picture taken in cozy Restaurant „Łapa Niedźwiedzia in Mągowo / Poland
A scene where color does not go unnoticed. Using a wraparound light so that all elements can be detailed at first glance. Enjoy it
Photographing a knife set for a client, and thought I included an image with a darker background but with some vibrant colours from the ingredients that I have included in the image.
I bought this bottle on a whim because I likes the shape of the label and the embossed accent. I tried to highlight them both in this photo. Originally I wanted a classic circular glow behind the bottle, but due to limited lights, I got this happy accident line: the top scrim casting a sharp line on the background quickly softening as it gets farther from the light.
Autumn is for apples and apple pies. This scene was created for my food column in one of the biggest life style magazines in my country. That's me, posing with the apples and a cake. Eve of modern times, inviting to share them with you :)
Bright, airy and delicious. Summer time brings loads of amazing and tasty berries. This is the definition of great snack. How is yours?
This is my set-up of " calm and take a break": the warm colors of lemons, tea and honey contrast with the cold color of the glass and black stone. And the flowers give a very romantic touch of calm and serenity.
Who doesn’t love coffee.
I always imagined rich and dark scene for this
beauty. Few key but subtle elements fill this scene which complement the hero
This is a cocktail shot in a magical morning sun. Whilst shot with the direct backlight, the rest has automatically blackened out. One of those impromptu shots with no styling apart from pouring something into the glass and garnishing with some blackberries and placing it into the direct sun light.
The perfect glass for the perfect scotch! I got in love with this glass when i saw it and i knew i needed to do so many things with it. This was the first time i used it and it really gives good luck!
Snapshots in photography are one of the most important moments for good pictures that will be remembered. Paired with a good wine, in this case a Bacchus from Baden Germany. The picture was taken in my photo studio for a customer who sells wine with passion. In this campaign I had a free choice for my creativity, perhaps because the delicious wine was decisive for the mirror image, who knows, the idea with the mirror image after enjoying Bacchus and certainly from previous works of art from the past.
Cocktail shadow geometry.
Elegant stemware glass of fresh orange cocktail with big ice ball on white table surface, bright yellow background
Bir Bintang Crystal. Found this new product of one superior beer brand in the country. Impressed with the exquisite appearance of the label and bottle design, I decided to have it as the subject for my light painting shot. I incorporated some smoke in the scene to pair with the light paintings. I love how each element's character works together in creating this image.
Ginger-roasted plums with blackberries and dark rum. Autumn harvest at its best.
It’s one of those shots when the scene catches your gaze and wouldn’t let it go…
The drama I achieve with lighting is one of the things that inspires me the most. Just like in this composition where all the elements are combined generating a delicious combination of aromas and flavors.
Life is a combination of magic and pasta.
This Fellini’s quote inspired me to make this photo. Bright and light levitation was the perfect mood for this frame✨
There are many different textures of beverages. It can be frozen, thick, pulpy, creamy, icy, smooth, silky, bubbly, foamy, steamy or on fire. In my photo series I have decided to catch them all. So here it is - the BUBBLY rose gin.
Empanadas, a typical dish for many Latin countries. It can be taken as an everyday meal as a snack, appetizer or even a main dish. However, we wanted to give that elegant and exquisite touch in this photo, achieving better textures with a side light.
