Zongzi or also known as Bacang, is one popular Chinese rice cake dumpling. Heaps of glutinous rice filled with meat, sausage, salted egg yolk, mushrooms, water chestnut then wrapped with bamboo leaves into tetrahedron shape.
I like to imagine the zongzi among traditional Chinese or Oriental props. So I styled the zongzi traditionally with vintage china and bamboo containers. The vintage china and stacked bamboo basket were passed down from both my grandmothers.
Composite of many separate photos with PS. The contrast with the pink of the breakthrough helped to improve attention on the subject. It’s very important to blur the objects ahead to get a realistic effect.
Personally, I love using natural effects like mirroring in my photos. Although it can be quiet challenging, once you've managed to obtain the perfect background, it is very rewarding!
Cada color cuenta, y más si las características principales son fuertes y vibrantes, todo funciona en contraste con la apariencia que representa, Con ayuda del color la fotografía puede expresar una emoción, por ejemplo, melancolía, alegría, viveza o tristeza.

This satisfying and healthy meal, fish fillet with coconut milk and lemongrass has become one of our favorite family meals as it is free from Gluten and Dairy making it suitable for my food intolerances but tasty enough to be enjoyed for my kids. this recipe is also on my food blog www.spiceupsoul.com
I am so so happy to find these gorgeous naturally colorful (not dyed) eggs at a local farmer. I have an endless list of recipes of things I want to make from them in mind. But today just enjoying the beauty of the egg itself.
I shot this image of a Meyer Lemon French 75 with Empress 1908 Gin, accented by a fresh Meyer lemon twist. Diffused light from a softbox on the left with a white reflector on the right.
I always thought that lettuce has a more important role than just being a part of a salad, it can be used in many ways besides salads. That's why I made these lettuce rolls stuffed with meat, to give the lettuce another life
Fresh limes with water droplets coupled with a moody edit was the look I was going for. Used limes of various sizes and cut differently to make it more visually interesting.

This Lemon pastry was the second subject when trying out the dry ice. The picture is giving me spring vibes but also a bit of magic because of the smoke.
Thi is a wonderland picture enchanted by sweet. Using a side light to give contrast and some drama to that perfect and magical scene.
Using red grapes, along with red flowers and other red-coloured fruits, to symbolise the rich redness of the bottle of red wine.
Thanks to @aduadus and @javiferagu for helping me with the splashes so I could stay dry and @d00dlebugg9 for joining my slogging editing sessions.
This capture shows the product of the client on a lifestyle scene as a relatable option in addition to solely product-focused images. Calm mood, harmonious colour palette and and a scroll-stopping action, of course!
Drown. Inspired by top-down lighting I did when I first played around with flash. I thought it looked like sun rays through water, with water droplets looking like bubbles, and thus thought of this idea.
Who wouldn’t like to spend a lazy weekend morning or afternoon with a piece of tasty curd, white chocolate, raspberry and mandarin cake?
I captured a tiny bit of door to frame and narrow the scene and make the subject pop.
From shadows to the light. Dusting sugar make wonders and create an inspiring scene. These Swedish semlor look even more inviting when dusted with some sweet sprinkles.
Salsa Borracha "Drunken Salsa" from my mom's family recipe.
It's a traditional salsa in Mexican cuisine, usually served with queso fresco or sliced avocado.
Made with roasted Pasilla Chiles, tomatoes, onion, garlic and the addition of some alcohol, some recipes call for pulque, tequila or beer. The alcohol is cooked off and gives it a delicious flavor.
The image was created to illustrate the recipe from my mom's book.

To organise a perfect trip the first thing is prepare all stuff you need... Even a warm drink for cold days! Picture took in studio for this flask.
Part of a series exploring the removal of product branding. I also had the opportunity to experiment with levitation and liquid photography which was fun (and messy!)
The perfect way to get your greens in is with this thick and creamy green smoothie bowl, made with the luscious tropical flavors of coconut, pineapple and banana and colorfully infused with spinach leaves for a delicious and nutritious treat!
I call this photo my green goodness. I am a lover of monochromatic scenes and as part of one of my recent courses with Rachel Korinek, I was inspired by one of her photos featuring greens so much that I decided to have a go at creating a chromatic scene myself.
This is my purple cabbage soup, a vegan delicacy!
I adorned it with some toasted bread and little salad leaves.

This is my homemade Blue Matcha Ice Cream. I used dried Butterfly Pea Flowers, removed the stems, milled the flowers and created Blue Matcha powder to use in the recipe. It has a very different taste and there is something satisfying about creating something unique from scratch. I scattered the Butterfly Pea Flowers in the scene and placed the spoon diagonally to draw the viewer to the bowl where the hero food sits. This was shot with a very large aperture and natural light.
