Personal work for a new section on my portfolio. Ingredients for a spicy salsa with smoking habaneros. The bowl is called "molcajete" made of volcanic rock. It's a traditional Mexican kitchen tool used to make salsas.

Photographing a macaron is not easy to do. I want something else, so I try to do that. In this picture a placed the macaron on a caramel stand and decorated it with some eatable flowers. I give the macaron some backlight and the mainlight came from the right. The reflection makes it more special and is my signature.

The idea of this image was to create a cosy atmosphere in a pub. The colours of the surrounding set the perfect backdrop and contrast for enjoying this delightful, fruity cocktail.
Wonderful dish. This was cooked at Gourmetfestival by Reisebüro Mittelthurgau on the boat trip between Basel and Strasbourg. I had the pleasure to take pictures of all dishes.
