Seventy-Fifth Collection
The main concept of this photoshoot were inspired by the interior design of the bar. The long lines, the rounded forms, the use repetition and the colors were complimented with a lighting setup that included harsh shadows and some soft controlled light to model the glassware.
Gravadlax from our new cookbook The Anglers Cookbook - made with coriander seeds, pink pepper and horseradish. Such a beautiful and taste way to handle a salmon.
Studio photography with softbox and spotlight to create soft shadows. A blood orange and turmeric, cardamon cocktail created with botanical shrubs, photographed for @pyewacketstraditional
An auspicious food to have for Chinese New Year: Layer Cake. The cake batter is baked layer by layer, a labor-intensive delicacy. The one here is a variation with the almond added.
Minimal still life for top quality organic olive truffle oil.
The perspective from below gives an important aspect to the bottle.
Central composition and soft light.
Shot by Nikon D810 and Hensel Contra studio flash light.
The hero of the photo is the gluten-free cake with mascarpone frosting and caramelized figs. I wanted to show the mood of the afternoon light.
Capturing motion is always a challenge, playing with the available light, the speed of the movement, and camera settings. So in that way, the addition of the icing sugar was not only a benefit for the taste of the cake ... !
Photo shoot of the tomato juice. It's the combination of freshness, saturation of taste, stylish design and concentrated source of antioxidants.
This image was shot for Oostwegel Collection. They serve amazing pie. Because of a Christmas deal I tried to add the feeling of Christmas by adding bokeh. Here you can see the cherry pie with a hot coffee.
This Blood Orange French 75 is a twist to a beloved classic, the French 75. Enter my favorite citrus of the winter season, the blood orange, mixed with gin, simple syrup, and topped with sparkling wine!
Coca Cola - product shot for my portfolio.
I used four artificial light sources, softbox and a reflector, processed in capture one and luminar Neo.

Drinks have something that fascinates me, the way the light falls on them is magical. They are dynamic, the same liquid can look very different simply by changing its container, I think that is why they are what I like to photograph the most
Natural, organic and soft were the words that came to mind when I shot this for a client at his restaurant. I wanted it to look inviting and elegant so I chose a minimalistic style.
In the Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel is restaurant Idylio by Apreda ( Michelin starred restaurant )
where Farncesco Apreda one of most brilliant talents on Italy’s culinary scene show me Italian roots and elegant oriental influences: these are the hallmarks of this chef’s characteristic style
Hero on the pleate: ‘Ischitana Style’ John Dory, Savoy Cabbage and Beans
Bringing some shine to the gray days of January with this pink-ish soft tones cranberry cake capture. The light comes slightly from the back from a speedlight & a rectangular softbox (perfect for creating this airy feel).
A perfect way to start Christmas dinner with this tasty amuse. Scallops with caviar and a champagne sabayon served on a scallop shell.
The small details make the difference. A photo that undoubtedly arouses the viewer's interest by freezing time and achieving a super elegant photo that speaks for itself.
Photographing a beautifully styled pasta dish in a rustic restaurant setting, while incorporating sunlight into the image for a more vibrant feel.
My first composite with a stock splash shot. Other than the splash, the tin itself is a 4 or 5 photo composite to use different reflections and highlights.
This overhead shot was part of my winter portfolio session in nordic style, showcasing the colours of the Finnish flag. My favourite flower is the blue eryngo which also can be spotted on the scene.
Eggnog macarons made and shot for the festive season, as hinted by the fairy lights, spices, and subtle wooden decoration peeking at the front. Shot with natural light.
This is one of my favorite coffee desserts. It’s a delicious affogato al caffe . I created a warm coffee colored mood and used negative space, my hands and the high cocktail glass as leading lines.
I made the same image with a burning candle and a blown out one. I think the smoke of a candle gives that extra softness to this image. Relation between the shutter speed and f stop I’ve chosen helped to capture the smoke a little bit blurry yet sharp enough.
Christmas Mint Gimlets.
I love dark and bright images with a whole lot of mood and drama, and I wanted to go for that here. I stuck with a monochromatic colour scheme and minimalistic composition to really let the drink shine.
The very thing I love in this picture is the light. The shooting day was moody however each and every moody day has that special light that shines through the clouds - and through the window. All you have to do is to catch it and capture. Not that easy sometimes but definitely worth trying.
Do you have a flavor that every time you taste it, it immediately transports you to a different time in your life?
For me, it’s these Pecan cookies, they are crumbly and moist at the same time. Remember when you tried cookie dough for the first time? Whether you sneak in a taste when your parent was not looking or they gave you a chance to try it… that flavor will always take you back to those moments. When I make this dough, the experience just takes me back to my childhood.
I know you’ve experienced something similar!
Bright and airy photos are not closer to my heart, however when I see something that fragile I have to put some repot to the high key and make it looks so airy
I enjoyed taking this refreshing summer salad photo for a client. Colour contrasts make the dish pop out and makes your mouth water????
To infuse the ingredients of this Eggless Egg product and style it abstractly while maintaining the aesthetic was not an easy job. We changed the mood board a few times and we finalized the idea with this. The hardest part is to control the reflections on the packaging, but we think, we did it very well here.
