Seventy-Fifth Collection
One of the classics of New York since 1888, Pastrami Sandwich. Created by Sussman Volk, who served it at his deli on Delancey Street.
With greetings from Japan. An orderly picture, my inner zen garden was hooked up by some dynamics. One of the best whiskeys from Japan inspired me for this picture, somehow everything seems so small, so fragile, almost free-spirited from my perspective. What is your first thought when you see this picture?
Beautiful mess! For Christmas we decided to make espresso martini's festive style. Rimmed the glass with brown sugar and added the star anise. Simple but festive. Cheers!
Pear Elderflower Cocktail
Winter pears is absolutely love. Colorful autumn in the winter time, sweetness, tartness, juicy... Crazy passion for life.
This photo was created by nostalgia for hot summer days - a cool refreshing drink and a cold water pool. And Freeze with lemon and mint was the perfect protagonist for this scene, representing all the best of the summer mood.
"Why am I being singled out?" asked the quail egg. "No, no" I explained. You are just the best of the best. Shot with a Nikon D850 using a Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens at 60mm (f/7.1, 1/200, ISO 100). Profoto B10 Plus mounted in a 2X3 softbox.
Colorful explosion of strawberry and chocolate donuts and other sweets from the pink glass! In love with bright levitation food photography
Beautiful slices of mouse cake, my leftovers from a anniversary. I chose to have a photo in a dark mood with colourful layers, recreating a coffee and cake time moment.
A throwback to my chef days. Re-creating and re-shooting one of my most popular lunch specials. It was fun to see how far the food and photography journey had progressed.
A cozy sugar cookie latte piled high with whipped cream and marshmallows called for a touch of festive bokeh, made possible by a thin thread of fairy lights held in the foreground.
Bouteille de vin rouge. J'avais envie d'utiliser la lumière rouge pour symboliser la bouteille de vin rouge. La fumée apportée une touche d'élégance.
This photo is very special to me as it was my first attempt at splash photography! I used natural light to capture this delicious drink. It's a famous Middle Eastern drink called (Qamar Al-Deen) which is made from dried apricot paste.
A river cruise from Basel to Strasbourg and a nice Gala dinner. This dish was created by 2 Michelin Stars chef Tim Raue. Excellent work.
Shot on the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II DSLR Camera with the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens.
The settings used were 1/8000 sec at f/5.0, ISO 1000.
The reflections on the glass were created with speedlights lighting two stipbox shaped bounce boards.
The backdrops we used came from Replica Surfaces.
A photo of emotions from hands that lost love, just before relishing her favourite fruit.
A photograph of my grandfather’s love.
I have always been mesmerized by dark food photography which creates magic and mysterious atmosphere. I have developed and photographed this recipe of Chocolate Cupcakes with Hazelnuts & Cinnamon Cream Cheese for my Instagram culinary blog and decided to shoot it in minimalistic style to show off the beautiful presentation of the product itself, without any distractions on the background. This photo was shot in August and represents the last breath of summer, a sweet season of figs & berries. The soft chocolate sponge cupcake covered with silky and smooth cinnamon cream cheese with vanilla, accompanied by adorable aromas of figs, berries, mint & lime - the taste is irresistible. I wanted to express that feeling in this photo.
This is a capture from a recent client photoshoot for Nielsen-Massey Vanillas. Jessica of Jessica's Dessert Studio (in Chicago, IL) was brought in to build and decorate this layered cake, adorned with fresh fruit, poached pear, and dripping caramel sauce.
The picture is taken with a Canon EOS - R
The camera settings are:
Aperture: Æ’/8
Shutter speed: 1/160s
ISO: 100
Focal length: 50mm Sigma F1.4 Lens
From my new book "The Anglers Cookbook" - Our tak on a hotdog with fish. We used the popular danish hornfish so of course we named the dish Horndog.
Affogato photographed in studio for @windingroaddistillingco The 50 mile coffee liqueur and the coastal cane pure single rum combined with espresso coffee and vanilla ice-cream. Hot and cold ingredients mixed means being fast in taking the image.
Advertising still life created for a company that produces excellent Italian olive oil in Puglia. Soft light and use of frost for a great gradient on the bottles.
Shot by Nikon D810 and Hensel contra studio flash light.
Winter and Christmas period always delivers pictures with such a festive and cosy atmosphere! This bundt cake was of course delicious, and the glaze is the extra 'icing on the cake', literally!
Macarons or macaroons, who knows the difference? Have you ever tried to cook it yourself?
Photos shoot of macarons in splash-flying style.
Levitating cookies, shot for my portfolio.
I used two artificial light sources, softboxes and a reflector, processed in capture one and luminar Neo.

In the Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel is restaurant Idylio by Apreda ( Michelin starred restaurant )
where Farncesco Apreda one of most brilliant talents on Italy’s culinary scene show me Italian roots and elegant oriental influences: these are the hallmarks of this chef’s characteristic style
Hero on the pleate: Red Onion Tagliatelle, Foie Gras and Hazelnuts
No one can resist such deliciousness. A shot made with high speed sync to freeze the movement in the scene and give the photo a much more attractive look.
A gathering with kaya toast (ft. Malaysian coffee) on a sunny day. Except the sun was a speedlight and the hands are all one person. The speedlight was placed behind a window with thin curtain sheers which diffused it ever so slightly.
Family time with a gluten-free pizza and an image showing how you can fix food that doesn’t look so well. The cheese looked a little bit over-cooked and dry on this pizza, but styling with some burrata and rucola on top changed the look and the taste got much better too.
I am a big fun of rule of odds, also love some editing after photo shooting. This is one of the effects of fun and creativity when combined into one picture
