Monochromatic story has been a challenge for me, for a while. So I created a table scene with hands and coffee to tell a cold summer story.

Wonderful dish. This was cooked at Gourmetfestival by Reisebüro Mittelthurgau on the boat trip between Basel and Strasbourg. I had the pleasure to take pictures of all dishes.

A boiled egg from our own chickens on a vintage fork. Flying salt is created because I used flashlight.
The black background, backlight, colors and flashlight from the right makes the egg really pop out.

Simón Coll’s chocolate product images shot with natural light. The aim was to focus on high quality ingredients while still keeping the chocolate as the main hero. Ingredients such as cocoa powder and coffee beans were used to create the natural backdrop to support the chocolate’s quality. I shot the collection of three kinds of chocolate – coffee, orange and salt.
