In this image I focused on capturing these home made plum galettes in a cosy rustic style using the vintage props shot a dark and moody atmosphere. My aim was to capture the galettes' structure and the fruits' juiciness. Shot with natural light.

This image represents a modern eye catching styling of a coconut chia pudding with fresh figs and mango puree decorated with eatable flowers.

I wanted the image to be minimalistic as the dessert itself is busy and colourful. The frozen movement of pouring liquid adds an interest to the whole frame while the light and airy style makes the dessert to stand out. Shot with studio flash light.

For several years I am making pictures for a client, who sell whiskey and wine glasses. This time the location is my own garden. I love to shoot in our beautiful green lush jungle garden. With just one flash as a backlight I take this picture. The rocks and the moss are placed on a wooden table, the wiskey is real, not a fake blend ad you can see how it stich to the glass. I used my 200 mm lens and shoot it on aperture 2.8 for a lovely bokeh background.

First dish of the day - Cieddì Restaurant

Black angus gourmet burger photographed for Muse Bistro.

The burger is served in a smoked sphere, therefore I needed to capture this aspect. The setup was a big 80 cm octagon on the right, a Bitlighter in the back and a large cardboard to reflect the light on the right. The context of the burger was built using two background and decorative elements.

Home-made mini berry tarts: a tribute to freshness and autumnal colors. Captured with my trusty Sony A7III in my studio, using a single source of artificial light to create a dark & moody atmosphere. The goal is to convey a rustic essence and highlight the vibrant colors and freshness of the berries.

For a sushi restaurant in Utrecht the Netherlands I take a lot of pictures of their sushi menu. On location I build up a small studio. With 2 flashes I take care of the culinary photography. And this is one of the results. My client was very happy with these pictures.

Autumnal Salad Snapshot: I captured this colorful salad in my studio using a Sony A7III and a flash to bring out the autumn vibes. I added dark grapes and pomegranates to capture the warmth of the grape and pomegranate season, creating an appealing, generous, warm, and exciting salad. The main focus was on styling, combining different textures and shapes of fruits and veggies for a visually pleasing experience.
