The history of the brand producing quality beverages is honourable: the founder of the company Thomas Fentiman was an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England who was approached by a local merchant with a request for a loan in 1905. A deal was made and the security was a recipe of a botanically brewed ginger beer. The merchant did not pay the loan back and so, Thomas became the owner of a unique recipe. Beverage made according to the recipe became popular rapidly, the family business broadened and several factories were opened. The company still belongs to the Fentiman family.<br />

A delicious cola with the sweet note of cherries. The beverage is mixed from herbal ingredients. Contains ginger. Natural cherry has been added to the cola for maximum cherry flavour.

Fresh red kidney beans in pods. My mother found these red beans while shopping in a fresh market; she then bought them and shared some with me. So happy to get beautiful, fresh beans in pods, so I decided to make a few shots of them. I opened three pods and found that each of them has different color and pattern combinations; one has more red with only speckles of white, one is white with very pale red speckles and the other is white with red speckles. By making a close-up shot, I could expose the details of beans.

I wanted to experiment with shooting those diamond glasses because I thought I could get some nice reflections and highlights, I thought the color palette that the surface has could be highlighted through the bourbon, and styling to create a photo with nice color harmony.

I created this as spec work for a local cocktail mix company. I had two goals in mind: 1) Convey the freshness of their mixes, and 2) Play off their name to evoke a feeling of being in the mountains when the sun is below the horizon. That's where the pinks, purples, and blues come into play.
