Chefs are like artists but they "paint" flavors for the palate.
The starred Italian chef "Ciro Scamardella" while preparing one of his minimal recipes.
Had the opportunity to shoot this seasonal menu. A very unique dish in one of the best bar restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Using Foie Gras in authentic malay flavor is remarkable.

This is my interpretation of a ‘fast food’. Iberico ham and truffle camembert sandwich. I have played with different background colors to create special mood for each sandwich.
Olive oil and mozzarella cheese, this is a beautiful combination. Add some basil leaves to add additional flavour - and colour to the picture - and you have a perfect quick lunch.
This photo is part of a project that I designed for a SangrÃa client in Spain. They wanted to show the freshness of their product and the great quality they have.

The splashes were created separately, and then incorporate into the image. This is showcasing the ingredients that goes into the cocktail.
I have the pleasure to style and shoot for award winning Preserves and Condiments Producer, Galloway Lodge. I chose muted colour for the surface, backdrop and fabrics for this product, which makes the beetroot chutney POP! It’s delicious by the way!
Taking inspiration from cosmetics photography–specifically nail polish drips–I attempted this style with one of my favorite snacks as the "Snacks" title page for my cookbook, "Eat Like Ariel".
A creamy meatball pasta shot with artificial light. A super simple pasta dish to spruce up store-bought frozen meatballs. It was mostly an exercise for pasta styling as I mostly work with sweets and baked goods.
Its a composite food levitation image. The idea was to showcase the colours of the food. The chef's hand adds the human element which is a key component as well in the frame.
I believe one of the main aspects of storytelling in food photography is color and how one color interact with the other. I tent to pay attention to this aspect in my work. For me this image is soft, cozy, romantic and positive. It's about that moment you blow a candle, and make an intention for something beautiful to happen in your life.
Photography for Blue Star Donuts. Blueberry Bourbon Basil donut combines fresh sweet blueberries, fresh fragrant basil, and a good bourbon (added for a hint of caramel depth). The basil is a refreshing balance to this deliciously sweet and colorful concoction.
The iconic red of Coca Cola needed to be brought out with this image. Hard shadows and soft fill light to bring out the details.
In this photo I shot falling pods into a cup full of pea pods! I hung my pods with a fishing rod to let me take just one shot (that's the secret)!

This image was taken during Fig season, I love the shape and texture of Figs, and wanted to highlight this delicious Fig and Pistachio Cake. Using layers of wood, linen and textured background with a branch of foliage leaning into the frame adding interest.
Nothing beats a summer vibe feeling! Sun, family, friends, fruit and a bottle of rose is all you need. Cheers to a wonderful summer.
Mojitos are a classic, but just about any fresh soft fruit or berry can be added to turn a classic mojito into something extra special.
For this Blueberry Mojito, all you need is simple syrup, limes, fresh blueberries, mint, white rum, and some club soda to make this happy hour rum cocktail fizzy.
Hopeless, romantic happy hour. The long shadows recall the evening and the cherries, together with the pink background, speak only of love.
Pizza is definitely one of my favorite foods. This pizza includes blue cheese and radicchio atop an Alfredo sauce with a balsamic vinegar glaze. The color of the radicchio visually brings out the best of this pizza. Anyone care for a slice?
Shot with the Nikon D850 and 24-70 mm lens. Indirect lighting with a Profoto B-1 pointed into a 36 inch white parabolic umbrella.
I have taken many shots from different angles for this delicious Lemon Merinque Tart. The last one was this shot to show how inviting the tart is, ready on a table to be served.
This image is part of a collection of soup shots for a local meals-at-home producer. The brief was 'a cosy winter feel' ... the client was thrilled with the result and to have her product included in the collection.
This photo represents simplicity in a beauty. Lonely flower that stays pure even in the darkest times. Yin and yang in a alternative way.
The pictures was captured upside down to imitate a space without gravity, giving it a light feeling of levitation.
I also wanted to merge the food and inedible product to show that they can live together as a product/ food photo and be in a controversy.
