Wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC, soft and precious taste wrapped in a golden foil to recall its preciousness and complex taste going to celebrate the label.
For this popping champain picture I mixed two settings together. I photograph the bottle and later I photograph the cork upsidedown with splashing water. I blend the 2 images together in photoshop. I use some speedlights for light.
Cozy pink breakfast still-life: strawberry rhubarb jam, toast and coffee, with the suggestion of a view into a summer garden. Fresh peonies complete the scene.
Art in my life
I think there is a lot of art in our lives. I consider "food", food, desserts, and drinks that are most familiar to us in our daily lives. Incorporating art into our lives will make our lives brighter. I want to have a positive effect on our mind and body with our familiar food.
For the beekeepers magazine of the Netherlands, I write recipes with honey. I always take a suitable photo with it. In this case, the recipe is "Honey Biscuits with Candied Chili Peppers"
This was an impromptu shoot to play around with shadows. It was shot in the late afternoon in natural light. It became part of a larger series focusing on monochromatic brown food.
Serving green tea in a beautiful chinese tea set in a winter noon for my family!! Amazed seeing how pretty the tea looks in this cups!! Love this cosy family time.
Simplistic, bold and full of flavour. For this shot, I wanted to create intrigue in the viewer by utilising lines, shapes and tones.
A humble salad with no added salt, no oil, no salad dressing, just fresh berries, water melon and some torn mint. A few peppercorns for heat and some crumbled feta for saltiness. Simple, refreshing and ready in a few, on a hot summer's day.
A stilllife with fresh blueberries had always been on my to-do list , and here’s one .Added a few leaves and a flower for a hint of contrast.Shot in natural light .
Personal project where I worked with a blue tea, natural elements and steam to try to achieve something mystical but cozy. I must say that this tea from @adagioteaschile is delicious.
Food is passion, memories, taste.
Whether it is a traditional homemade recipe or the latest reinterpretation of a starred chef, each dish tells a story.
Through the lens of my camera I'm inspired by those stories.
In this shot I wanted to capture the beauty and elegance of a refined 'risotto ai gamberi', from the chef Andrea Leva
Potato milk is a new alternative to a healthy non-dairy drink. I love photographing drinks, playing with light and reflections in glasses.
Personal project call “grazie a bio”, where genetically modified foods are photographed but which people want to believe are "organic".
Cool down... Apple cider with taste of cherry and rhubarb. Photo shoot for local Latvian cider producer Talavas sidrs @talavas_sidrs

A juxtapose blend of orange and blue oil splashes. All splashes were individually photographed and then combined onto a gradient blue canvas.
A delicious product, a beautiful new plate and hundreds of blackcurrants called for a fun (and quite messy) overhead photoshoot.
Pouring shot in a beautiful environment with Japanese vibes established by strong colours, harmonious composition and limited colour palette.
Churros with a thick chocolate sauce. I made it thicker than I would probably eat it, just for the photo, as I find that thicker sauces and glazes are generally easier to work with. Plus, in this case it looks more thick and rich and luxurious, so win-win I'd say.
I have been working on food levitation for quite some time now. Its so much fun, specially because it lets you weave your dream. When dark theme is coupled with it, it creates magic. So happy to have achieved the lighting that I wanted to have here. It is a composite shot under same lighting condition. Back light with flagging helps to achieve the edge illumination. Plus additional controlled lights on sides to help achieve the dramatic effect.
Strawberries and pistachios are such a good combination and this tartlet is made with both ingredients. Although it’s easy to spot strawberries here, pistachio custard is not visible. I’ve decided to tell the story of the taste of this tartlet by including movement with chopped pistachios and repeating the colors of the ingredients throughout the frame.
LAVENDER COCKTAIL
This easy lavender gin cocktail is a delicious drink packed with lemon and subtle floral notes. It's made with lavender simple syrup, lemon juice, egg white, and stunning Empress gin
Trying to capture magic moments during the hustle of a busy service in a restaurant is a challenge. Variable lighting, bodies in motion everywhere, action all around. A final grate of lemon zest on this dish of wild kangaroo and abalone.
Chef: Rob Turner. Shot on Canon R 50mm F1.8 STM ISO 4000 f/2.5 1/8000
L’idée était de suspendre un pain au milieu d’un jet de farine pour apporter de la modernité à cette image. Une source de lumière latérale et un fond noir sont utilisés pour rendre le pain le sujet principal
Essentially summer. This image was part of a series to highlight rose wine as the summer drink. For which hard light and creative shadow play worked best to tell the story.
Months of DIY projects, bottle photography research, and tutorials to take this photo. Always room for improvement, but still a proud moment.
Here I’ve tried to capture the droplets along with the glow of light in the drink and the movement of the cocktail in the coupe glass. The colors are intended to be all reds and pinks keeping a hint of green to bring the frame together.
