From the label design, styling and photography, this commissioned work was made at my home studio with natural light, perishable props from the garden and a sugar pine log slice from a burnt forest. This local client was celebrating the first vintage since the Black Summer 2019-2020 bushfires, which devastated a fair part of their vineyard. I wanted to express the resilience that emerged from the darkness in this contrast.

A new customer asked me for a service dedicated to the drinks and cocktails section.

I wanted to make something more authorial and advertising; photos not only dedicated to the social part, but also to tell the mood of the place.

I didn't use artificial lights, just natural lights. It was a summer afternoon and the light was very beautiful.

I knew when I took the shot photo how I was going to edit it. And the outcome came out just how I imagined it.

This photo highlights the purity of Joël Robuchon's Atelier Saint-Germain dessert. The purpose of this image is to highlight the millimetric dressing of a michelin star as well as the magnificent golden crockery.

This is the result of a class I took on floating photography in Colombia, with Danny Lopez. The teacher gave us the class, came out and left us to apply what we learned. And this was the result, a bit challenging but I liked the process.

This dish is remarkable, local flavor but is done differently with great fusion. This is the taste of Traditional Prawn Noodles that originated in Malaysia. New form but familiar flavor. Very well done by Beta KL.

Macro image of a pomegranate. I've always had a similar image in my mind, but believe it or not until recently I didn't know
how to properly peel a pomegranate. The picture was taken with only one artificial light source to create this dark and mystical atmosphere.

Our Christmas appetizer, sour creme with caviar and a touch of gold. This Italian caviar always inspires me because and I like to play around with it.

Photoshoot for Dark Sky Spirits. Gooseberry Whisky Liqueur. Strangely delicious. Made simply from farm-fresh gooseberries, blended Scotch whisky and British sugar. Lovingly hand-made in small batches in Scotland. Perfect as an aperitif or in a cocktail. It's refreshingly delicious with sparkling water.

Who does’t love commercial images if the art director keeps the visual branding in mind when coming up with the creative concept? Reka designed the visuals for this Nordic rye ale in a way that the can appears in a frosty environment!

A gingerbread-spiced caramel cake with eggnog buttercream for Christmas. This was shot with a speedlight, but in order to keep the light from the fairy lights and the candle whilst maintaining the crisp action, I had to play a balancing act between flash and ambient light.

I loved the texture of these dumplings. These are Prawns Har Gow. Its a composite image with some play of light to give a final output of a levitation.

A shot for my client inspired by January trends of eating healthier food. I’ve prepared and captured this vegan sandwich packed with protein without the pouring of olive oil first, but then decided that movement will take the scene to the next level. The shot is much more interesting like this, of course :)
