With just 1 flash on the right with octa I made this picture. I added some water on the bottem for a little reflection. I shot this wineglass image fir a company who sells wineglasses. I make a nice setting with some red fruit and red leaves.

This is one of the first photos I created when I was studying glass photography, and I still find it very fascinating for the chosen colors, the studied composition and for all the atmosphere it brings.

Linzer cookies filled with a homemade apricot and vanilla jam. I like taking my food pictures my own way, without (m)any props. This applies to Christmas cookies as well. The black background brings out the bright orange of the jam and the icing sugar adds a bit wintery touch to it.

Client work for Kinship Foods, they approached me with the challenge to shoot their dumplings reflecting a very colorful and fun style. They wanted images that showed Asian food and ingredients in a non-traditional way. Using saturated colors and bright contrasting tones really gives these dumplings some life!

I created this macaron set up for a recent branding photoshoot where I wanted to show a few different, behind the scenes - work in progress sets in my studio. <br />
The original plan was to use window light, but this final image was shot with artificial lights due to the quickly darkening afternoons here in Scotland.

A new customer asked me for a service dedicated to the drinks and cocktails section. <br />

I wanted to make something more authorial and advertising; photos not only dedicated to the social part, but also to tell the mood of the place.<br />

I didn't use artificial lights, just natural lights. It was a summer afternoon and the light was very beautiful.<br />

This is a Cherry Sponge decorated with Lady Fingers in a Still Life scene with a holiday theme colour composition.  I lit the background in addition to the lamp and used a softbox to light the scene from different angles.

Named after the similarly titled album of Iron Maiden, this roasted dark chocolate-flavoured English stout that is so good that you will crawl to the store to get one.⁠ I love the label design.<br />
⁠If you ever wonder what's wrong with my hand: nothing! I masked and painted a prop hand to look this creepy, so I did not have to crawl under the table to capture this scene, I added real smoke to create a cold night mist, and applied colourful gels to create the specific lighting. ⁠

I try to challenge myself to photograph brioche in another way. I was trying several compositions in flatlay, but finally I went in last shots for the version with cut slices and sugar dusting. It was a right decision.
